Thats one of the loose ends i hope they pick up on, it would seem a bit strange to have this man who seems high up in Quantum and also has an important position in the British government, being the Prime Ministers advisor if they dont pick up on it, you would think MI6 would want to deal with that.

Saw the news on bardem if he takes role can't wait to see what it is. As for quatum I agree they need to play into the story still but just not be the main threat.

Yeah, RIP John Barry. I have already heard the theme to Midnight Cowboy and OHMSS played on the radio today.
When a writer from aicn saw a preview of 'Casino Royale' with a temp s/track, he said that they used the theme tune from OHMSS over a long action sequence, and it worked so well that he went up to the makers at the screening afterwards and told them they must keep that in the movie, to bemused looks. I wonder which part of the movie it was, my guess is maybe the part with the exploding truck at the airport, i might play my Bond album along with that to see if it fits.

so he talks to the public about a character that he is not 100% playing? i know that he is a big name but this is strange.

I like the vague details he gave about the movie. Bardem is a great actor so it'd be wonderful if he accept the role.

Damn, I hope he takes the role, and if he does, I hope it's actually a good role. I mean, Matthieu Almaric was quite good in Quantum, but the actual part was very poor.

His part was so damn weak. And underwritten. If only they slowed the pace down, we could have gotten something much more sinister out of him.

Well if bardem is going to do the film. He probably haven't read script just yet. Do they even have a current draft ready to go. So that could be reason he is being vague on things.

Bardam would be awesome as the villian, cant wait for this movie.
It also says that the script picks up soon after the events of Quantum of Solace, hopefull not 2 minutes after....

Bardem as a Red Grant type villain would be awesome especially after his portrayal in NCFOM. Bardem and Craig going toe to toe would be awesome!!
