We talk about how crazy Vince is. But we forget how bat***** crazy Antonio Inoki is.

I am disappointed that Inoki never challenged Superman to a match.

They put the titles back on The Bar because Jordan has a rumored injured neck. Seth Rollins is a walking black cat.

Big guys tend to have thin skin.

I think once Ambrose went down they were going to put the Titles back on the Bar anyway. Now, I don't know how the WWE/Fans feel about Jordan, but to me he was just a knee-jerk fill in because they needed someone and once the Shield thing got killed off by the injury, they were just going to go back to The Bar anyway. Jordan/Rollins doesn't sell like Shield/Ambrose/Rollins tag does. Frankly Jordan does nothing for me, nothing in-ring or on the mic is remotely interesting about him and the Angle being his Father angle was blatantly stupid and uninteresting IMO and I couldn't care less about him having a Rivalry with Gable (another uninteresting nobody) either or Rollins/Jordan Vs. Gable and whoever his new teammate is, I mean, I don't even remember who he's teaming with already. They need to figure out what to do with Seth, because he's one of the Top 5 guys in the company IMO and should be getting a push now that the Shield angle is dead for the moment.

The thing about the other women bashing Ronda Rousey, I think it's a work because the WWE does this all of the time. WWE Superstars have attacked each other on social media all of the time and all of that is a work, so Nia and Nikki Bella bashing Ronda on Twitter is a work. The WWE monitors what their superstars say on Social media.

I love the Bar having the titles again. It's the only time I have liked Sheamus.

You've made that same statement almost word for word at least five times.

If it's not that it's how Enzo's not gonna go "All in"

Or how the Rock appears "via satellite"

Or how New Japan should go to comic con

What is with you and repetitive posts?

It's the Wrestling Thread.....so I chose to have a gimmick.....Mr. Repetitive Posts Man.

Some NXT spoilers:

- Trevor "Ricochet" Mann debuts as Ricochet and beats Fabian Aichner with a 630.
- Johnny Gargano vs. Almas in a Loser Leaves NXT Match. Johnny lost thanks to Ciampa.
- The return of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic.
- Looks like Dakota Kai is starting to become an NXT regular. Her storyline with Shayna Baszler continues. Also a rematch for the NXT Women's Championship at Takeover: New Orleans.
- Tomasso Ciampa is the most hated person there. He was going to cut a promo twice, but the crowd booed him so badly, both times he walked out without saying a word.

I think fans would welcome The Animal back no problem since he's a bigger star in Hollywood now. Imagine how much money WWE could make by booking Rock Vs. Batista?

I agree. Breaking up American Alpha was a huge mistake. They killed any chance for Jordan to be a singles success by making Kurt Angle his dad.

Heel Batista would be welcomed back with open arms. For me he's been one of the best heels they've had post attitude era. Between him, HHH and Miz.

I must be the only one that liked Jason Jordan's run. He plays the smarmy, entitled, nepotism-fueled jerk very well. Plus, he's good in the ring.

Agreed. He's doing excellent heel work right now. The angle was stupid, but they're making the most of it with his progressing heelishnes

He says getting the reaction he just got means he earned more than a title, and title or no title, he is who he said he is: Johnny freaking Wrestling. Says he'll never forget Takeover but he'll also never forget a crutch shot to the back. Says he's bit his tongue since Chicago but he's coming for Ciampa, man to man, face to face. NXT Champion Andrade "Cien" Almas interrupts. Zelina Vega says he didn't earn anything and shouldn't be out here, and Andrade shouldn't be listening to Johnny whine. She says Andrade has beaten him again and again and he is just Johnny Loser. Johnny says his second favorite part of Takeover was when his wife jumped the rail and kicked her ass. Zelina steps to him, and Candice LeRae comes out and attacks Zelina. Zelina says she's sick of this and ask what's it going to take to get rid of them. Johnny says one more shot at the NXT Title. Zelina says he's on, but if he loses, he leaves NXT forever. Johnny says he'll take that bet and Zelina & Andrade leave laughing

* Bianca Belair defeated a local enhancement talent. This was a quick squash, no hair whip

* SAnitY (Eric Young, Killian Dain, Alexander Wolfe) defeated The Undisputed Era (Adam Cole, Kyle O'Reilly, Bobby Fish) in a six-man Tornado Tag Team match. This was a crazy brawl all over the ringside area. Too much to follow. Young introduces chairs, tables, and a kendo stick. Young, Wolfe, Cole, and O'Reilly brawl to the back, leaving Dain and Fish in the ring. Fish hits a moonsault for 2. Everyone back at ringside now. Dain throws Fish off the stage onto everyone else. Wolfe with a powerbomb on Cole but Fish breaks it up at 2. Great sequence of everyone trading moves to break up pin attempts. Dain kicks Cole off the apron and goes to cannonball him through a table, but Cole rolls out of the way. Wolfe is alone in the ring with all of Undisputed Era. Wolfe fights back but gets hit with Total Elimination. EY breaks it up with a kendo stick, but eats a superkick. Cole with the knee brain buster for a nearfall. Fans do "this is awesome" chants. Dain recovers and fights off all three of UE. Dain hits the Ulster Plantation on Fish for the win

February 14th Episode:
* TM-61 defeated John Skyler & an unnamed competitor. This was a quick showcase for TM61 (not The Mighty). TM wins with Thunder Valley

* WWE UK Champion Pete Dunne defeated Roderick to retain the title. Good chain wrestling to start. They fight to ringside. Roddy avoids a stomp on his hands on the stairs and drops Pete across the stairs with a backbreaker. Pete knocks Roddy to the outside and jumps on his arm when he grabbed the ropes. Roddy with a gutbuster on the apron. Roddy rolls him in for a 2 count. Pete with an enziguri, but Roddy with elbows. Pete into an armbar and snaps Roddy's arm back. Pete off the top, but Roddy hits a dropkick in the air for a nearfall. Roddy finally connects with the backbreaker for 2. Pete with a forearm after reversing the Olympic Slam. Roddy lifts Pete out of an armbar attempt and slingshots him on the top rope. Roddy with the Olympic Slam off the top rope for a nearfall. Roddy gets out of the Bitter End and locks in the Stronghold, but Pete attacks the arm to get out. Pete hits Bitter End for the win. Great match

* Aleister Black comes out for a promo. Aleister says he has a devil on his back driving him, and that devil is the NXT Title. Killian Dain interrupts. Dain says the devil isn't on his back, Killian is, and he won't stop until he is NXT Champion and that if Aleister has a problem with that, his path will be stopped by chaos. Aleister says Killian crossed him, so he must now fade to black

* Shayna Baszler defeated NXT Women's Champion Ember Moon via disqualification. Ember attacks at the bell. Ground and pound to start. Shayna rolls outside and Ember hits a suicide dive that crushes Shayna into the announce table. Shayna recovers and goes after Ember's bad arm. Crowd is very anti-Shayna. Shayna throws Ember into the post shoulder first. Shayna traps Ember's arm in the guardrail and stomps it. Shayna goes to put the arm in the ring steps, but Kairi Sane comes down for the save. Kairi attacks Shayna for the DQ and runs her off, then helps Ember

February 21st Episode:
* The Velveteen Dream defeated No Way Jose. Jose dominates most of the match as Dream takes some hard bumps (such as flying over the top rope and landing on his face). Jose goes for the Pop-Up Punch but Dream hits a dropkick, the rolling DVD, and the Purple Rainmaker for the win. After the match, Velveteen declares himself the winner of the Male Competitor, Overall Competitor, and Match of the Year awards. He says nobody cares about Aleister, Asuka, or Tyler Bate, everyone is talking about Dream and if you can't see that, he doesn't have time for you

* Nikki Cross defeated Vanessa Borne. Vanessa gets some offense at the start and a series of 2 counts, but Nikki eventually takes control and hits the swinging fisherman's neckbreaker for the win

* The Forgotten Sons (Steve Cutler & Wesley Blake) defeated two unnamed enhancement talents. This was a total squash. They beat up one one of the jobbers the entire match after taking out his partner. They pick up the win when Cutler hits a top rope stomp while Murphy had the opponent in an inverted DDT position. After the match, they cut a promo saying they've been cast out and are what society has made them. They are bringing something nobody has seen, and it starts at the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic

* NXT Champion Andrade "Cien" Almas (w/ Zelina Vega) defeated Johnny Gargano (w/ Candice LeRae) to retain. This was another incredible match from these two. Gargano with a hot start. He goes for a suicide dive, but Zelina stops him. Candice gets in the ring and hits a suicide dive on Zelina. Gargano hits a cannonball off the apron to Andrade while Zelina & Candice fight to the back. Andrade takes control and goes after Johnny's arm. Johnny with a hurricanrana and hits the middle rope spear. Andrade lifts Johnny with one arm and hits a buckle bomb and the double knees to the face, but only gets 2. Johnny fights off the El Idolo but gets thrown into the post. Johnny hits a superkick on the apron and they trade punches. Johnny goes for the spear, but Andrade ducks it and locks on an armbar, and then the GargaNo Escape. Johnny reverses into a pin but Andrade kicks out. Andrade flips Johnny into the buckles with a brutal spot and hits the knees to the back of his head, but Johnny kicks out. Andrade sets up for the top rope El Idolo, but Johnny fights out. Johnny slides out of a double stomp on the tree of woe and tosses Andrade out of the ring, hits a tope into a DDT, and the springboard DDT, but only gets two. They trade shots, Johnny ducks a forearm and Andrade hits the referee. Gargano locks in the GargaNo Escape, but Tommaso Ciampa comes out of the crowd and hits Johnny with his crutch. Andrade hits El Idolo and the ref recovers to count the pin

After the match, Johnny gets a standing ovation. Candice joins him in the ring and they announce per the stipulations, Johnny must leave NXT. Johnny is met by NXT General Manager William Regal, who hugs him and raises his arm. Ciampa appears in the crowd across the way and laughs while waving goodbye. Johnny says we're not ending this on sad note, hits his music and goes into the crowd to thank the fans

* Nikki Cross defeated Vanessa Borne. I'm assuming this is a re-tape of the match they had last night, to air on February 21st. Same exact match, just a few tweaks. Nikki wins with the Swinging Fisherman Neckbreaker

February 28th Episode:
* The Velveteen Dream defeated Tyler Bate. This was a fun match. Dream fights out of the airplane spin. Tyler hits the clothesline after bouncing off the ropes. Dream with a huge spinebuster for 2. Shayna jaw jacks with the announce table after the win

* NXT Champion Andrade "Cien" Almas and Zelina Vega come out for a promo. Zelina calls Andrade the greatest NXT Champion in history, or Mr. 4-0 and runs down Gargano for losing again and again. Zelina says who cares about earning respect, and unlike most women, she doesn't feed off her man's success, she creates it. Andrade says Johnny tried again and again but lost. Andrade says he made him Johnny Jobless. Zelina asks what they call Andrade and he says "NXT Champion." Aleister Black's music hits as Andrade is on stage, and Black hits the ring. Before he can talk, Killian Dian's music hits and he and Aleister square off. Killian hits a running crossbody and leaves him laying

March 7th Episode:
* Ricochet defeated Fabian Aichner. Insane pop for Ricochet. Good back and forth. Fabian gets in control after a flashy start by Ricochet. Ricochet with a running shooting star for a 2 count. "Ricochet" chants start up. Ricochet hits the 630 for the win.

* NXT General Manager William Regal comes out and announces that tonight we will be seeing "the first three rounds" of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic. And the first round begins now

* The Authors of Pain defeated TM61 in a first round match of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic. TM61 take control early. Shane hits a dive outside onto both of AoP. AoP regain control and start destroying Nick. Nick with a hot tag to Shane. Shane hits a cannonball. Nick breaks up a pin attempt after a powerbomb neckbreaker combo. Nick hits a moonsault but the pin is broken up. Shane gets powerbombed on the apron and Nick gets hit with The Last Chapter for the pin. AoP was announced as advancing to the semifinals, so it's an 8-team tourney, and should end tonight

* Bianca Belair defeated a local enhancement talent. Quick squash, nothing of note. Once again, no hair whip

* Tommaso Ciampa walks out with his crutch and no music to massive boos. Every time he tries to start his promo, he is met with thunderous boos. He gets frustrated and throws the mic down twice. Ciampa leaves the ring and rips a Johnny Gargano fan's Johnny Wrestling sign up and destroys it with his crutch before storming out. Ciampa poses on stage and soaks in the boos

* Aleister Black defeated Killian Dain. Aleister with a moonsault to the outside. Killian takes control and dominates much of the match. Every time Aleister fights back Killian overpowers him. Aleister reverses the Ulster Plantation into a rollup, Killian kicks out, but catches a Black Mass for the pin

March 14th Episode:
* The Street Profits defeated Heavy Machinery in a first round match of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic. Otis Dozovic wants a sip of what's in Montez Ford's cup and Montez obliges. Otis chugs the cup, tosses it in the air and attacks Montez. They put Angelo Dawkins in a Final Cut position and use Montez as a battering ram to his crotch. Montez breaks up a Compactor attempt, Angelo hits a DDT on Otis and Montez hits a frogsplash on Otis for the win. Street Profits advance to the semifinals

* Johnny Gargano signs were just passed out to the audience by NXT crew
rOYWxPC.jpg
* Tommaso Ciampa comes out sans crutch. He still gets booed out of the building every time he tries to start his promo. Crowd holding the Johnny signs and chanting at Ciampa. Crowd pops when he drops the mic and goes to leave. Ciampa again leaves with no words

* Dakota Kai defeated Lacey Evans. This was a quick match. Dakota wins with a rollup. After the match, Shayna Baszler comes out, but NXT Women's Champion Ember Moon runs out before Shayna can attack. Ember says Shayna started it, but she's going to finish it at Takeover: New Orleans. They brawl and Shayna knocks Ember with a forearm shot. Ember hits a boot and goes for the Eclipse, but Shayna kicks her. Shayna starts to lock in a kimura, but Dakota jumps on the apron and hits a boot to Shayna. Ember hits the Eclipse to leave Shayna laying.

* It should be noted that we're really not sure where they are in the tapings, they've been filming randomly and with odd breaks

* SAnitY (Alexander Wolfe & Eric Young) defeated Tino Sabbatelli & Riddick Moss in a first round Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic match. Not much here. Miscommunications between Moss & Sabbatelli. Young hits his elbow drop but Moss breaks it up. Nikki jumps on Moss. EY hits the elevated neckbreaker on Tino to pick up the win. SAnitY advances to the semifinals

* WWE UK Champion Pete Dunne defeated Adam Cole via DQ to retain. This was a good match. Pete has control early. Dunne hits the flipout suplex on the apron. Cole gets the upperhand as Undisputed Era distract Dunne at ringside. Pete hits a powerbomb for a nearfall. They trade enziguris and kicks until Cole kicks Pete out of the air as he flips off the turnbuckle. Pete ducks the shining wizard and hits a suplex. Pete goes for the Bitter End but Undisputed Era jump on the apron. Pete takes both out both. Cole hits a knee brainbuster for a nearfall. Pete goes for Bitter End when the Undisputed Era attack for the DQ. Roderick Strong runs down for the save and they clear the ring

* NXT General Manager William Regal out. Contract signing for the NXT Title match at "Takeover: New Orleans" -- Andrade "Cien" Almas defending against Aleister Black. Andrade is introduced, but Zelina Vega says Andrade is not here tonight and if he was here, he would destroy Aleister tonight. Aleister is ignoring Zelina and looking under the table. Aleister moves the table, sits down, and tells Zelina now they are on the same level. Zelina says Andrade is going to destroy him at New Orleans. Aleister says she's concerned that Andrade will come up, like her, a little short. Zelina slaps him. Aleister stands up, signs the contract, and leaves the ring. He says he's glad Zelina came out alone, because he didn't. Out comes Candice LeRae who attacks Zelina all over ringside and lays her out in the ring. Regal comes back out and thanks us and that's it for the tapings

What a fun two weeks for the people of Philly. Last weekend it was the Royal Rumble and tonight it was the Eagles winning the Super Bowl.

I must be the only one that liked Jason Jordan's run. He plays the smarmy, entitled, nepotism-fueled jerk very well. Plus, he's good in the ring.

No, you're not alone. WWE laid the groundwork for a legitimate future star there. Plus, it was refreshing to see a line-blurring story where the babyfaces don't quite know if they can trust their enthusiastic new partner with heelish tendencies.

Jason Jordan has been great and Rollins facial reactions to Jordan's actions have also been great.

Yeah Jordan has been good but I still feel the angle itself, no pun intended, was silly. He could have simply gotten over by being the Shield's fan or whatever, just like how they had Mickie all those years ago with Trish.

It seemed to me that they started Jason Jordan's run with no idea what the story of it would be, waited to see what the crowd reaction would be and went with that instead of forcing a story fully on the crowd. Now turning him into a kid that wants to get involved with everyone is brilliant.
