Wasn't sold with the first 2 trailers, but the first look footage has rekindled my faith. The dynamics between Fury and Carol, and the set pieces look to be Marvel's best so far (not including the Avengers movies of course)

I'm loving the cinematography for this film, especially with regard to the look of the Kree homeworld. It reminds me of the alien landscapes depicted in GotG, but quite a bit more sophisticated if that makes any sense.

I thought so too - for the record, I’ve now watched this latest trailer sixteen times.

Yeah that trailer is a good showcase of what we can expect with Carol’s personality and I love it. Sassy smirking Carol is awesome Carol. Brie was awesome and her rapport with SLJ is great.

This is also the first time I wasn’t bothered by her voice at all. Full disclosure, I really disliked her “I’m gonna end it” delivery. It’s too valley girl or whatever but I’m fine with her here.

Seriously loving the new trailer. I am so ready for this movie, it looks amazing and I really think Captain Marvel is going to outperform Black Panther. I'm not quiet sure it will do better than Infinity War or Endgame, but I think it's going to be huge for Marvel. Bree looks amazing and I'm already in love with Carol Danvers.

The brand is so strong at this point it doesn't matter, even if the past few years of movies have been mostly serviceable imo. CM's trailers haven't convinced me otherwise either, but it's undeniable that it's about to break out BIGTIME.

No one has any idea at this point what will be Marvel's "first failure" and whatever it will be, certainly won't come close to the catastrophic DCEU levels of failure. At worst, MCU will deliver another AoU or The Dark World....which, still weren't even failures by any means.

The new trailer looks much better and is more in tone with the MCU of having a wise-cracking hero. Still not a fan of the full-on cartoon looking CGI, but hopefully that will get worked on some more.

This was better than the last 2 trailer combined imho. Love what I'm seeing between Fury and Carol. I'm liking there chemistry. I feel Fury's banter with Carol and Coulson will be the foundation of this movie.

I appreciate that Boden and Fleck's tonal sensibilities, as reflected in the trailers, are more in line with that of serious storytellers like the Russos and Ryan Coogler. Maybe they can tackle the X-Men reboot next given the more topical undertones of that franchise.
