Justice League Ray Fisher Is Victor Stone/Cyborg

Eh, I dunno. If they were gonna sweep it under the rug they would've done that already. Instead they've been actively trying to assassinate Ray's character in the press. But with Momoa corroborating Ray's claims and alleging wrongful treatment as well, I don't see this going away.

i hope your right.
but looking at wb's actions right now -- they keep lobbing these hit piece after hit piece.
looks like their strategy is to win through a war of attrition.
and they have the resources and more lawyers to do this.

Lol seems like you just wanna be mad about all this.

Reminds me of those posters who would show up to say they didn't care about Justice League and then chime in every time a new development came out about it just to say how much they didn't care.

Why would I want to be mad? Again I’m not gonna stay quiet because my opinion doesn’t align with yours. You remind me of those people who whinges if you review a film and say it’s bad but because you liked it you don’t wanna hear it.

Never suggested you should. But your main gripe is that all this should be private and we don't need to know about it. Solution there is simple in my eyes, but do you.

If it was something heinous like physical assault we would’ve heard about it by now. More likely this was a director who told a cast that he didn’t hire and who probably didn’t want to work with him that you either do what he says or he’ll get rid of you. Fisher is also probably unhappy that his role was cut down substantially and that he’s being frozen out of the sequels.

Umberto, is this you?

Come on now, I think we can agree that WB can't be this dumb to go to Umberto of all people to put out a hit piece. :hehe:

Bruh, some people just want to maintain the status quo in Hollywood: casting couch, onset bullying, pedophilia and all the other sick things that go on. If one person says anything to offset that, you have people that end up defending big corporations even though the other side has not been heard. Fisher probably CAN'T talk right now but you have people getting upset and some how victim blaming him and telling him to go away. Take the money and be quiet. Some people have morals and balls and want to fight for the next man and some people don't see it. But keep fighting. I'm with you!

Imo people shouldn't rush to use the phrase "victim blaming" until they're sure the individual is actually a victim. So far there's no actual evidence of that despite all the back and forth. Let's actually see what this investigation does or doesn't reveal before painting anyone as a victim.

And you also shouldn't rush to label the "victim" anything either. How many people here alone have said he's a drama queen or whatever just because he CAN'T speak right now? It's ok to say let's not label him a victim but let's label him a drama queen....and not you per say but I hope you get what I'm saying.

That's fine, I just see that phrase thrown around far too often and hardly just with Ray. People should be allowed to express doubts if that's how they feel. Whether some of them choose to go about it in a disrespectful way is a different story. I don't think people on this sub forum have really done that so far. Those of us who regularly comment here haven't been insulting towards the guy.

Maybe not but go to other forums..............they are killing dude and want no parts of him. And sad part, Whedon has a history of it. His Buffy days are legendary so it's not like it's out of the realm of possibility but because Whedon gave us Avengers and John's gave us some great DC stories, people want to let it slide. Sorry but where there is smoke there is fire. Also, it's crazy how people are killing Fisher to talk more but Whedon hasn't said a single word but he is getting nowhere near as much heat as Fisher is.

I've definitely seen a lot of reactions from people outside the SC fandom that were decidedly more negative. A lot of insisting he's either a bitter diva (WB's narrative) or oversensitive and doesn't realize tension happens on a lot of movie sets.

Boiling it down to rejected script contributions and not wanting to say "Booyah" influenced a lot of people, from what I can tell.

I feel like the lion’s share of people being negative toward Ray haven’t actually listened to him talk about any of this. They just go off his tweets and the press.

Due to the purposeful lack of transparency (and in some cases blatant lies) on the part @wbpictures and the 3rd-party firm hired by them to investigate Justice League—an official request for a change of investigator has been made of @WarnerMedia. 1/2‎

I just don't think he understands the process here. WB and the investigator are not obligated to be "transparent", and I don't know what "blatant lies" means in context. An investigator is pretty much just going to take statements, and hasn't apparently even finished doing that portion of an investigation.

He has several options, including hiring his OWN investigator to take statements/interview witnesses.

But he seems not even willing to wait until a preliminary investigation is completed before alleging foul play. That's not a good faith move on his part.

He also seems like he's trying to control this process. That's not a good sign, either for working through this with WB or otherwise. People that do that are often either hiding something, or trying to control the narrative while accusing another party of doing exactly that.

Replying to @WarnerMedia
So as to protect the witnesses involved, and the information they possess, I strongly encourage ANY and ALL that have been contacted by the current investigator to respectfully decline to interview until a truly independent 3rd-party is engaged by @WarnerMedia. A>E 2/2‎"

What Ray is doing here is not quite there, but is akin to witness tampering. They're potentially going to scrap this investigation and cite a lack of cooperation on his end/the witnesses' ends.

Well the only fire that we're aware of as of this moment is that something has really gone wrong during the reshoots. Until we know more specifics about it I don't think we should be pointing fingers either way, yet how many people have already condemned the accused and burned them at the stake despite that there's no evidence of their wrongdoing as of yet. I mean the only thing we really have is "Ray says this and Jason backs him up". I'm guessing people don't go after Whedon as much because Fisher has gone primarily after Johns and now after Hamada. He really hasn't brought up Whedon much at all after the initial tweet, unless it's to claim that Hamada tried to throw him and Berg under the bus.

It's literally the duty of the employer to conduct or bring in a third party to conduct an internal investigation and an employee has every right to expect said investigation to be fair and transparent.

Or............the stars KNOW how Hollywood works and don't want to mess up their meal ticket. With all the baggage and accusations Ben Affleck has had in the past, I don't expect him to say a word. Gal Gadot? We don't know just yet. Ezra Miller has to be quiet because he allegedly choked a woman but no one is sure if it was a joke or for real.........so everyone on this movie kind of has baggage EXCEPT Mamoa so I wouldn't discount him just yet..........because most people seem to have done so. He has made it clear that he stands with Fisher meaning something did indeed happen but let fanboys tell it, nothing has.

Imagine the chaos that would take place at Marvel Studios if Feige were to be accused of the same behavior.

Does Fisher really expect WM to be unbiased here and throw WB under the bus?

Telling people not to talk justifies WM shutting this whole thing down imo

Like I said, a lot of the people who are criticizing Fisher will likely fall into one of the 3 categories I mentioned (not all, but many). So if you see people being critical of him, mentally place them in one or more of those categories, and then set it and forget it.

I think he believes doing this in public will light a fire under them.

Recommending witnesses not take part in what you feel will be an unfair investigation warrants shutting the whole thing down? Lol, boi oh boi.

It's basically grounds for declaring noncooperation from one or more witnesses.

Didn't Ray's last tweet indicate that WB did hire a third party investigator?

I mean yeah, this is what Ray is recommending as he doesn’t believe the investigation to be above board.

Didn't Ray's last tweet indicate that WB did hire a third party investigator?

Yes. And various other communications from Ray have indicated that the investigator wasn’t impartial, which they should be. And that’s why he’s unwilling to work with them, which is his right.
