You know, you may have a very valid point here. I think you're right, in which case, I can relax (a little) with not having to worry about (another) evil Barry.I think what you saw were set photos from the Armageddon crossover, which showed Grant Gustin in the Reverse Flash suit.

Please tell me you're joking.. I'm begging youalso we know there is actually industrial spy stuff from marvel (we know how the original plan from snyder was so close to infinity war/endgame for example). maybe marvel stole this idea from flash script when they did the dr strange episode what if. we know from andy Muschetti how the movie is gonna be very emotionnal.

Here's the thing though, that death can't have been an absolute point, because originally, it didn't happen.i'm sorry but i think the other barry will actually become evil. think about it : maybe it will be like the what if episode of dr strange. The other barry won't accept his mother's death so easily and become reverse flash/zoom, even if saving her would **** the timeline. think about his mother's death like an absolute point. the difference is he can actually prevent her death but it would have big consequence on the multiverse. so the good barry have to sacrifice his own happiness to save the multiverse. there is a moral dilemma.
I mean, the Muschietti's didn't have to keep Ezra. Gunn was given the choice to recast any returning characters so I'm sure Andy was tooView attachment 50005 Ezra as a human is deeply annoying. He is obnoxious and pretentious and has ridden off the goodwill of his early performances for too long. I think Snyder made a big mistake in casting him. He’s just so ****ing grating to watch. I cringe every time he speaks, and even the way he just sits there in little BTS snippets… so self-satisfied
That footage was pretty bland. Even for Muschietti. This doesn't look worth the trouble for bringing back Keaton. I'm still baffled, bringing ****ing Michael Keaton back into THIS???
Talk about oil and water.

I may be incorrect, but from my knowledge of the comics, Thawne goes back in time to kill Nora because he's jealous (and/or envious) of the Flash in his time. That Flash had, and grew up with a mother. The timeline that Thawne initially came from had a Nora Allen that presumably either died from old age, or was still very much alive.
Thawne went back in time, killed Nora, which in turn spun a series of events where Barry then acquired his powers earlier than he ordinarily would have done. Thawne has already changed any fixed point in time. I suppose it's only a fixed point from Barry's perspective then, which means it's open to change.
Suffice to say, I really do hope they don't turn any Barry into a Reverse Flash. The CW has already done - and ruined that theme.
That same situation doesn’t apply to The Flash. The studio determined that Ezra Miller would stay on, it wasn’t Muschietti’s choice to make.I mean, the Muschietti's didn't have to keep Ezra. Gunn was given the choice to recast any returning characters so I'm sure Andy was too
The two sides have been working on compromises since last year, but Miller then made the unusual move to take it upon himself to pen his own script, enlisting the aid of comics superstar Morrison. That script was submitted to the studio in March. By May, the studio rejected his approach, but concluded that Miller should still remain the Scarlet Speedster.
