Marvel Films Phase 5 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe

According to the casting agency that previously posted that they were looking for extras are now saying the production date has now moved to spring. So this is most definitely getting delayed now.

2024 is then.

Fantastic Four better not move to 2025.

I don't really want that Deadpool movie, I wouldn't mind if they move that to 2025.

Do you think there's a possibility that Marvel Studios would release 5 movies in the same year? And what about Spider-Man? Sony isn't going to wait til 2025 to release their next Spider-Man movie unless its their choice.

5 movies in one year is way too much, especially when people are already saying there's oversaturation. It's really looking like we won't get another Spiderman movie till 2025. With 4 movies sceduled in a 6 month stretch in 2024, and Blade likely to be delayed, there's pretty much no room for marvel to fit it in without some serious tweaking of the schedule.

While it's possible, I don't see them releasing 5 movies in 2024. With the news about Blade and now Armor Wars being a movie (for those that haven't seen it Marvel’s Iron Wars to Be Movie As Don Cheadle Disney+ Series Changes Course – The Hollywood Reporter), I have a feeling they are going to do a major overhaul with the schedule for the next few years.

I can potentially see Blade shelved for a bit. And maybe Secret Wars pushed out to 2026. Not to mention we have no idea how Spider-Man is going to factor in all this. Sony currently has an untitled Marvel movie scheduled for July 12th, 2024, which in the past the summer months have been reserved for Spidey (NWH being the exception). And if that ends up being the case, Marvel might push out a movie to make room for it.

Woah, I didn't know that about Armor Wars. I also think there will be a shakeup of the schedule, and it might be for the better. Perhaps instead of trying to cram two phases into a three year period, they'll make both phase 5, and phase 6 a two year deal. Granted, we wouldn't get the xmen till 2027, but maybe it's for the best that the next two phases have more time to breathe.

I think Secret Wars comes after Kang Dynasty so either they delay both or just Secret Wars IMO.

Eh. Jackman has always been the no-suit kind of Logan. I think it would help to differentiate the new Wolverine and have his introduction have more impact by the new version being the first time we see a Wolverine on screen in the suit.

I still can't imagine how that mask could look anything other than ridiculous in live action. Which probably increases the odds that it'll be used in Deadpool 3, given the gaggy nature of it. Deadpool poking fun at Logan's goofy looking mask would fit right in. But when the proper 616 Wolverine shows up and they want to tell some serious stories about him I'd wager they'll go for something more like the Ultimate costume design.

THR already claimed that its a theaterical release,so its not gonna be a Disney+ original film.

That won't happen as Star Wars is associated with the Lucasfilm franchise.

People might be confused and think the Star Wars franchise is set in the MCU after all.

My best guess is that it'll be a 2025 release. Deadpool 3 and FF are both currently slated for Fall 2024 and I can't see those moving baring any unforeseen circumstances.
