$120m, the same as The Wolverine wouldn't be bad.
Everything from $100m to $115m sounds about right to me. Whatever they need to tell the story. These guys are smart and know how to make the most out of a budget. They've already said that they don't wanna go into cosmic, city-shattering stories, so...
But you don't think actor and crew budgets will go up now? These guys kinda deserve to get paid more now.
http://www.comicbookresources.com/a...miller-poised-cash-x-films-box-office-successNow that "Deadpool" is a certified hit and the highest grossing X-Men film of all time, details about what the film's success means for those involved with the film's production. As revealed by The Hollywood Reporter, it looks like star Ryan Reynolds, director Tim Miller and screenwriters Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick all have a few more paychecks headed their way.
Sources indicate that Reynolds earned $2 million for the film and is reportedly the only actor eligible for box-office bonuses and backend compensation. He could end up making more than -- possibly way more than -- $10 million for "Deadpool." Considering how massive a success the film is, sources say that his agents at WME are prepping a big renegotiation for the "Deadpool" sequel that could up his pay even more for future films.
Similarly, it's reported that director Tim Miller could end up with several million dollars following the film's success; sources say Miller, who made his directorial debut with "Deadpool," was paid $250,000 for the film. His pay could get doubled for "Deadpool 2" if he comes back -- and Miller doesn't have a contact in place for sequels like Reynolds and the writers. Screenwriters Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick are expected to receive "goodwill" bonuses.
So far, "Deadpool" has earned $236.8 million domestically and $493 million worldwide. The film broke the box office records for February opening weekend, winter opening weekend and opening weekend for an R-rated movie. "Deadpool" is in theaters and making money right now.
I actually think they'd do good to keep the budget tight. Like, if the sequel script's first draft is a 100M dollar movie, give the production 90M. Having to be really efficient brought out the best of the movie, keeping everything tight and ensuring that the stuff in the movie really did need to be in the movie.
And already the wrong lesson has been learned.
Hmmm. So now BvS is going to be rated R...

...at least on dvd. Thanks, Deadpool, now maybe we get to hear Batman say "I'm the ******* Batman!"
Man, that would be awesome. I have to admit, after the Highway sequence, the final battle was pretty underwhelming. It sucks they had to cut it out.
