War has long been considered an economic booster. New contracts to be had, military hardware to be manufactured, and infrastructure to rebuild. It also can get American corporations into areas they wouldn't otherwise have access too. I doubt the corporations will benefit as much in Ukraine, but they might. I dont expect Ukraine to turn into a full blown war for us, but there could be some contract work to rebuild and resupply if the Ukrainian government remains when all is said and done. How so? I thought Biden was supposed to fix the bad economy and provide job opportunities by using his brain and his policies and now you're saying that the only chance to boost the economy and create new jobs is to get into a bloody war with Russia?
As for Biden, he is trying to rebuild the economy through other means also so I dont see this as an either or situation. And he may not be considering the Ukraine situation as a potential economic boost. Some people around him probably are tho.
And for the record, I never said war was the only way to help our economy. I only said it could boost the economy. How I feel about it or whether I ultimately support this approach depends entirely on what Russia does, and how things turn out.
