GREEN LANTERN: RISE OF THE MANHUNTERS tie-in Game

It's cool how Kilowag has a different shade of green than the other Green Lanterns.

Even if the game sucks, I hope the movie looks like this and kicks as much arse!

this does look good, lets hope it lives up to the cut scenes

looks like we're FINALLY gonna get some gameplay footage

I hope

IGN.com has a preview of the game and a few pics. Sounds like it might not be bad. Although they only played a small part. Hopefully the game is fun from start to finish.

When I see some gameplay footage then I judge.

Shots of Arisia and Ch'p on the main page.

oh, well they have ch'p too, so she might not even be in the movie

I don't want to get my hopes up. I don't, I don't, I don't, I don't, I don't.

But I will rent it when it's out and see what it's like.

Game play looks total kickass fun!
Love the great range of medieval to modern, short range to long range weapons constructs. And the transitions between them looks real fluid (probably with some fancy finger work) you can combine several in a row for some killer attacks.
The opening shot of him pulling the Lantern out of the pocket dimension and charging up was tremendous, I hope that’s something we get in the movie.

Sword of the Lantern:woot:

And its freakin cheesy as hell but I love this as a set up:
In the shadow of Fear
In the face of Betrayal
In the eclipse of Darkness
...You are the Light

Thanks for the link.

Looks decent. Don't really like that he seems to be spending a lot of time on foot though. Would have thought it'd be more like a sorta, dog fighting mechanic.

It looks like it might be good but I'm still a bit skeptic towards the game.

IGN tentatively gave it a pretty good review here - http://ps3.ign.com/articles/115/1159199p1.html

From the review above; looks like they address exactly that - "When we were on Oa, we were land-based creatures. Hal and Sinestro could glide when combining a jump with a drill dash, but there was no free flight.
However, the game has levels that are strictly air-based. Here, we're looking at the feet of the heroes. They're being pushed forward, and we're guiding them around the screen and shooting. It's like an arcade jet game. "

These and other images above show the flying mode - http://www.omelete.com.br/images/galerias/greenlanterngame/green-lantern-rise-of-the-manhunters_f07.jpg

Looks like what you wanted, or rather a bit of both.

And - "it's worth noting that Hal and Sinestro are the only playable Lanterns in the game, but you can expect plenty of cameos, Poozer. "

Awesome!:yay:
