A person's value is measured by their looks...to an extent. Look at the most successful and influential people in the world. Most of them arent hot chicks or hot dudes. And even in they are attractive most of them are successful for their abilities.
I dont see what's bad about labeling someone, man or woman, ugly or unattractive; especially unattractive.
As you said what's bad to one might be good to others. For one I find most bone skinny girls (like the new Transformers girl) and most really "overweight" girls (like the girl in Precious) unattractive. Does that make me a bad person? No. If I said the girl in Precious is unattractive to me so I'll never watcher her on screen then that would make me a bad person. Or if I bullied people that I found ugly I would be a bad person
But to see a girl that you dont find good looking and think "Not for me" is fine. Its human nature. Its how you act with the person you find less attractive
Again I dont see the big deal about people talking about the looks of the sex which theyre attracted too. Save for the guy who started the conversation, who Im pretty sure was a troll, no one has said anything that bad.
Besides in the end her talent will be held higher than her looks. The talentless hot girl in Hollywood most of the time doesnt make it as far as the good looking girl with talent.
And this convo is much better than the barefeet and chest hair conversation a bit back
...But, uh.....how about Chris Evans as Cap
