I felt like this series got the moral "With great power..." right. In SM1, one of my favorite scenes is when he says sorry to Aunt May after the GG incident. He also looks at a pic of him, May, and Ben. He feels guilty!


Just some discussion starters:
I don't see how MJ is unlikable and selfish. In SM2 she is just waiting for Peter and in SM3 Peter is the selfish one and she actually goes to his house to comfort him when they find out that Sandman killed his Uncle.

Speaking of selfishness, is it me or was Peter's characterization vastly changed in SM3? He went from a humble, compassionate and conflicted man to...a jerk. (even w/o the symbiote) How did this happen?

Who was the better Uncle Ben? I like how Cliff Robertson was an older, compassionate parent who was trying to teach his nephew a lesson.

Based on what you loved about the films, which one was the best?

And yeah, Peter killed the Carjacker. He learns forgiveness pretty late.

Waiting for Peter is keeping hold, not promising a guy she'd marry him and leave him hanging in their wedding day
