The Marvel Cinematic Universe in its first outing on Disney+ exploded at the Primetime Emmys with a total 28 Primetime Emmy nominations, the bulk of that going to WandaVision.

WandaVision notched 23 noms include Limited Series, Actor-Actress and Supporting Actress Limited Series, Production Design for Half Hour Narrative Program, 3 Writing Limited Series nods, Casting, Fantasy/Sci-Fi Costumes, Directing, Two Single Camera Picture Editing, Period/Character Hairstyling, Main Title Design, Period/character non-prosthetic make-up, Original Dramatic Score, Music & Lyrics, Main Title Theme, Music Supervision, Sound Editing and Mixing in a Limited Series and Special VFX.

Thats a big honor.

All the previous Marvel Television live action shows haven't received a single Emmy nomination iirc in Best program/acting. While Daredevil got technical nominations.

To be fair its "just" limited series. Drama is still way more competetive.

Limited/Drama/Comedy are three main categories though when it come to scripted programs. Its good for bragging rights.

Also I looked it up, Aos got 2 vfx Emmy nominations, Jessica got 3 technical Emmy nominations and Luke Cage/Punisher both got 1 Emmy nomination for stuntwork in the past.

I think this is the first time in a long time that I have shows that I watched that are nominated for Emmy best drama/limited/comedy.

Well done to WandaVision for the nominations. Hopefully they'll win some.

Iron Fist should've been nominated for best acting and best action. :o

With Bo Burnham and Queens Gambit as competition, I highly doubt WandaVision wins in a single category.

Kathryn Hahn also won best supporting actress, but no awards for Lizzie Olsen or Paul Bettany unfortunately.
