Batman: Arkham Asylum 2.0

2.0 Literally! Batman: Arkham Asylum 2 Trailer!

Wicked Arkham's in the city now. We are picking up right where we left off in the first game . The Joker physical appearance is that of what he experienced after Batman defeated Titan Joker. I love that Mr. J's still recovering . Harley appears to still be wearing her nurse outfit . And it's clear the main villain in the sequel is Two-Face. I hope they get Richard Moll from BTAS to voice Two-Face that would be awesome if they reunited the cast from BTAS for the sequel game to join Conroy, Hamill & Sorkin .

I want more challange rooms also but with Scarcrow and Harley as playable characters. Hopefully RS still has DLC in the works with the fast tracked sequel going on. I'd gladly pay the premium for more stuff.

I'll let you post one panel, but not the whole thing. DC would frown on that.

No such thing as copy right in your world? Are you not gonna get banned for posting that?

It depends. The comic wasn't made for sale at all. It just came as an exclusive pre-order bonus for australians and nowhere else. It's actually rather strange the comic ISN'T up in the official site of the game. =S

I need help. How do I get back into the pump room(Where we fight the titan and all the goons) so I can get one of the riddle

I think you may have to go all the way through the batcave/sewers to get back there. I'm trying to remember where the door goes at the top of the destroyed elevator shaft that you climb after beating the titan in that room. The only way I can remember is through the sewers.

Yeah, I need to get back through the elevator but I can't find it, as the sewer way is blocked by the Waynetech gates.

Doesn't the batcave connect to the main sewer junction, where you have to do all that platforming on the weakened stone/that stream of Titan was flowing at one point? I know that way leads to the pump control room after you get the ultimate batclaw, although the only thing that sucks is that Ivy's plants block a lot of doorways until you beat her.

I can't remember where exactly that one door is at the top of the elevator shaft, but if you get back to the batcave via Arkham North, just head to the main sewer junction and to the room where the Riddler Map was and that will lead you to where you fought the Titan. As I said, if you haven't beat Ivy yet, her plants will be blocking your way.

Oh, forgot to mention here. There won't be anymore B:AA DLC, was confirmed a few months ago on the official forums.

Dooooooooooooouble post.

Wow, not even a delayed release of the Scarecrow maps?

Doesn't surprise me. When I saw they were already developing a sequel I assumed the potential DLC for AA was probably not going to come or would be something small that was held back from being in the retail version

Wow, not even a delayed release of the Scarecrow maps?

Everything exclusive will remain so, this includes Joker on PS3, Scarecrow from the GameStop preorder, and the Crime Alley map from the CE.

Pretty lame, especially for 360 owners who didn't get either the Scarecrow or Crime Alley content. I'm glad I got rid of my copy while it still had good value.

Won't you wanna play it again before you get AA2? Or maybe when you're done with AA2 you might want to go back to the start and play AA again.

I don't understand why people trade in good game.

You can get banned for posting the comic?

I thought it was a free comic?

Not surprising that there is no other dlc on the way.

I just need to finally pop it in to finish the last two challenges and then trade that bad boy in.

On the 360, no. I'm getting a PS3 for Christmas so if I want to play it again, I'll get it for that. I was really disappointed with the replay value. It only took me 30 min to get the remaining Riddler trophies and I only liked the predator challenges.

I remember what happens so I don't need to replay it until I forget.

FWIW, this was the first time I ever traded in a game shortly after its release. And I didn't trade it into GameStop for $15.

I'm with Spidey-bat...I played the game through twice, and don't really have a desire to play it again. The predetor challenges were awesome, but short.

The combat challenges are crap and boring, plain and simple.

I'm forcing myself to finish my remaining two combat challenges due to my achievement hoarding.

The Combat challenges are awesome, in a MGS: VR Missions sort of way.

The problem is, it's just not enough.

Hey, all's I know is they finally nailed down the combat, gameplay, and structure for making a great Batman game. It's why I think multiplayer would have been a mistake. I wanted to see if they could just build a good Batman game, and they did. Now, they can set off and make The Dark Knight, after giving us the great Batman Begins version of a videogame for Batman.

I'm confident the sequel will up the ante. They'll need to add more to the mix than just the 'VR Missions' esque challenges. But, it was a good start.

I completely agree with you CB; AA2 should be the Dark Knight to AA's Batman Begins. Even after getting the Platinum Trophy I'm still playing this game just because I enjoy the story and beating up countless thugs as well as lowering my time on the Predator Challenges and upping my score on the combat challenges.

I agree that AA1 will need more replay value, since the combat challenges are very frustrating to master.

Lets hope we get better dialogue from Batman this time around....

Completely agree. I just played through the story again and forgot to mention one of the major weak points was Batman's dialogue as well as some of the other characters minus Joker, who was superb. It wasn't Conroy's acting as much as the lines he was saying: J: "Ready for more?" B: "Always...." J: "What?!" B: "I'll never let you win....". Just really bad lines for Batman, imo.

^^I think he just could've put more excitement in that line.
