I wonder if we won't see Darth Vader and the Empire again in this film? If this takes place before A New Hope don't be surprised if we get an Obi-Wan appearance as well

All of those would not be cameos they would keep under wraps two months before release.

Probably just a one shot since Han pretty much jumps right into doing his own thing afterwards probably. Then deals with Luke a few years later.

This one gets to me after TFA. You'd think he'd be Rey's buddy, especially after what happened at the end of TFA. But nope. Didn't even get a conversation with Luke.

A lot of the PT and OT races are conspicuously absent from the ST, and that does kinda suck. Though there were a couple of Twileks in the background in Rogue One; one of Saw's Partisans was a cousin of Bib Fortuna, and one guy is shown watching a hologram of a Twilek dancer.

But, as of yet... no Rodians.
