Daredevil Daredevil: FULL SEASON TWO Discussion Thread (BEWARE, SPOILERS GALORE!)

Technically, Daredevil is an outlaw vigilante accused of murder. So he wouldn't have to "register" or anything. I like this show because it's pretty ground-level compared to what's going on with the superpowered Avengers world. I would have to assume they'd have to at least talk about the Thanos invasion after May :awesome:

True. No one would be aware that he is enhanced. Jessica and Luke they would potentially know. But, for all anyone knows, Daredevil is just a guy in a costume beating up local criminals.

You don't need superpowers to be considered enhanced. You can simply have advanced tech.

I'm really excited for this one. I hope Kingpin is in every episode. He was the drawing force for me to the show in season 1.

He has a bulletproof suit, and he has special gadgets that other people can't have.

And how would anybody know that? You are assuming random thugs would catch that. You're projecting audience knowledge that we have onto what people should know about him, when in reality, they have no way of knowing this in universe. Outside of Foggy and co.

SHIELD would know.

SHIELD would know.

Once again, how? You have not provided me any proof or way they would. Because he can beat people up with a stick, it must be a special stick?

This. There's nothing outwards about Daredevil that says that he is blind. The only people who know he's blind are people who are closely attached to Matt and have no reason to talk about it with anyone.

I also seriously think people are overestimating SHIELD's resources these days. Maybe SHIELD pre-Winter Soldier, but not now.

I don't think the equipment Matt uses has any right to be regulated in the MCU more than say, a gun.

For sure, his stick is 100x as effective in DD's hands than anybody else's. Nothing compared to those Judas rounds in Luke Cage

No! You guys are crazy! I mean, he can beat criminals up with it AND swing on things! It demands SHIELD's highest priority agents on the scene!!!! :cmad:

Fury: "Put Project Insight on hold! There's a guy in New York with a stick! Wait make that two sticks-CALL IN THE AVENGERS!!!"

Daredevil is a publicly known figure.

So? Him being blind and the weapon he uses is not. Once again, projecting knowledge you have on to everyone else when it does not apply. His weapon would not warrant Shield's attention

I need a Exact Date for S3 Asap , but i asume it will airs some week in October

Likely October or November would be a safe assumption.

Reddit leaker said that Bulleye is in this and he's truly scary. He doesn't get his costume, though.

Of course not, that's basically their mantra now I guess. To think I once complained that DD didn't get his 'til the last episode, when I should've been grateful he got it at all.

Bullseye is the kind of character that can get away with not having a costume. At least not wearing one at first. If he is to be a recurring villain in the series, maybe Daredevil inspires him to wear a costume after his inevitable defeat in subsequent seasons (kind of like how Joker was a response to the emergence of Batman in TDK).

But yeah, the Netflix shows are very shy about costumes, LOL! Hopefully that changes with Iron Fist in season 2 of his show.

I think not giving Bullseye his costume undermines the character and brings up bad memories of the movie. I know this show hates costumes for villains, but he really should have one.
