After walking in and taking the throne, he just assumed he did the hard part.

Decent first episode, lots of cool stuff and finally seeing Boba climb out of that Sarlac after all these years was great to see in live action. The pacing was little slow at times but I guess for a first episode of a very first series that is often the case, with setting things up and time jumps for exposition.

Gamorrean guards stole the show though, they were the G.O.A.T.S

I do feel like Boba would have benefitted from having two episodes released on the first night, more so then Hawkeye did. Especially as we have seen so little of where we are going.

A fun episode. Loved Matt Berry's surprise pop-up, hope we see more of him. The Boba/Fennec dynamic is great. But yeah, this really needed to be a double-header, especially with the pilot being shorter. There's really nothing here to point towards what's actually happening in the show at large. We at least needed a scene of Fennec interrogating the captured ninja to reveal who sent them.

Thinking back the Mayor's henchman SOUNDED like Berry, but didn't have the right build. So I'm not sure anymore.

Loved the new style design of the Tusken's, the cosplay will be strong with them.

Fennec was great again and will make an excellent No.2 to Boba.

Boba straight up exploding a dude was a pure joy. Temuera Morrison really is giving it everything in this.

Definitely. Some decent stuff, but underwhelming as a whole. It feels like there wasn't really a hook or promise for the future.

I thought this was pretty bad. The acting, action, writing, and visuals are subpar, and it doesn't even feel like Boba Fett enough for me to at least have my nostalgia itch scratched.

I thought Temura Morrison looked kinda ridiculous in every scene, between his goofy savage facial expressions and his perfectly white teeth. Ironically, Fennec and Ming Na-Wen possess most of the qualities I want to see from Boba.

Sarlacc escape was to tame and easy. Should have been an absolute nightmare in there, full of half digested still living beings, and that should have been the awe inspiring monster escape and kill, that wins the respect of the Tusken. (Although the later Harryhausen monster was a fun nod)
I needed Fett to straight kill that squealing Rodian (not help him) . and kill that Tusken kid (not save him).
He should have earned the Tusken's respect by kicking all their ass'
Although it made sense here, him now being the guy who gives the "no disintegration" need him alive orders, just seems off.

All being said, this is a new Fett, new staging for the character, still fun.

So plenty of backstory and quite a short episode. Glad to see Boba has Fennec and his 2 new bodyguards to save him. That 4 armed centaur type monster was cool ha. I could have done with at least another episode on launch day.

Fennec continues to be awesome. She's simultaneously amused by and fed up with everyone's bull****. Also, those Gamorreans deserve a raise. They jumped in and got straight to murderin' like it's just another Monday for them.

Was expecting Fennec to be awesome but the addition of these 2 guards made my day. No gardening leave between jobs, straight back into it lol.

I had fun with it, but the visuals and action seemed to take a bit of a step back in comparison to Mandalorian. I hope this isn't just filler until Obi Wan. Overall though, I enjoyed it!

This is a setup and bridging episode given where we last saw Boba. I imagine things are going to really get going from next ep.
