The worst thing about Beto is he kind of ended his career with his run. He couldn't just not win, he turned it into the kind of loss that backfires imo. I do wonder if he ever properly comes back. Feels like that would be difficult unless he moved cross country.

Ignoring the blatant Constitutional issues with a declaration like that, it's comments like these that really highlight how absurd the faith of the Religious Right is. They swear belief in a god that is supposedly omnipotent but also weak enough to be hurt by a crusty old politician (Who also professes the same faith)

That KY poll is a major outlier, but the SC race seems to be a lot closer than a lot seem to have noticed. Which makes me so happy, few senators deserve to lose their seat more than Graham and few newcomers this cycle deserve a seat more than Jamie Harrison. Love that guy.

Yeah. I've noticed that Harrison seems to be in striking distance in a number of polls. That would make my month if he were to somehow win.

Not a big surprise.....but, yeah, I read the same thing. Disappointing if it's Harris, but she seems the most likely choice.

I’ll be strategically, if not ideologically, disappointed if he picks Kamala Harris, but at this point I’m expecting it and I’d pick her over Susan Rice if those are our two uninspiring choices.

I’d rather have had Elizabeth Warren as VP to give it a balanced ticket to attract progressives and minority turnout, and then appoint Harris as Attorney General once safely installed in the White House, not make her a potentially problematic running mate with a sketchy record now of all times.

But it is what it is.

What does this mean? Seriously, what does this mean? Also his use of African American as a stand in for black Americans. He does realize a big part of Latin people are black right?

The major issue I have with this is it is going to end up leading to him picking Harris because only Biden could figure out ways to alienate the black community the way he does. Even though you know, younger black people aren't Harris' biggest fans.
