I'll buy you a delicatessen...in stainless steel!

I thought her name was Emma? :funny:

That was the best joke in Skyfall, absolutely loved it :D

Lol that was just Kincaid assuming when Bond said M he meant Em as in short for Emma.

Anyway I thought her name did begin with M since Bond implied as much in CR when he was waiting for her in her home.

whats also funny about that scene at her home in CR is that she
tells him "bond, never break into my house again"

cut to skyfall when he's waiting for her, again in her house.. ;)

Well, by that time he had his own key. ;)

Her name does start with an M, her last name, Mansfield, as does the last name of the new M, Gareth Mallory. :cwink:

I thought he was referring to her first name, not her surname.

^ Same and same. I'm sure they were referring to the first name in CR, but went their own way with SF. Which is fair enough, because the Mansfield joke is too good. :D

In my opinion, I doubt that. Raymond Benson's 1990s and 2000s Bond novels, as well as his official novelizations of the Brosnan films, established the name of the Brosnan-era Dench M as being Barbara Mawdsley. So like the original C of the real life MI6, Sir George Mansfield Smith-Cumming, the code name seems pretty clearly to refer to the last name. There is nothing in the line from Casino Royale itself or Craig's delivery that indicates a first name as opposed to a last name.

I live In Mexico, and just went to Mexico City and took the chance to visit the historic centre. I visit the hotel that the crew utilized. The doorman told me that they rented the whole hotel. All of it, with no staff, just the hotel all for themselves. Note that this is the most emblematic hotel of the city.

Location scout- But you'd have to buy out the entire room. And the first floor ...
Mendes: I bought the hotel.
[Everybody turns and stares at him. Mendes just shrugs]
Mendes: It seemed neater.

Batista must have brought along Ted Dibiase for that.

Hope Craigs knee injury isn't to serious. Craig the is man and love it that he does most of his own stunts.

Been waiting for this SPECTRE film and for them to be given their due justice in these new Bond films!

This one has a chance to match SKYFALL in overall bad assery!

Can't wait!

Not Deakins. Hoyte Van Hoytema, cinematographer for Interstellar, The Fighter, Her and Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy.

EDIT: Ninja'd.
