Homecoming SPOILERS ALLOWED****Spider-man Homecoming: Your Favorite Scenes****SPOILERS ALLOWED

I liked the movie, but it didn't surpass Spider-man 2 for me.

That said, the rubble scene and Toomes reveal scene were perfectly executed and I loved them. The rubble scene in particular. A poster here mentioned it before, but it was pretty intense to see the hero brought down to such despair and also makes you remember he's just a kid and really makes you feel for the character. Holland displayed his acting chops perfectly.

Too Many to count:
- Peter's day as Spider-Man.
- Dinner with Aunt May.
- Peter meets Liz's family and the following car scene.
-Spidey trying to catch up to the Shockers's buy off
-Spidey saving the kids in the Washington Monument
-The Ferry Scene
-the Gym moment
- "I was watching... porn".
- The Spider-Man #33 recreation.
- Michelle's reaction to the Washington Monument
-Shocker
-Aaron Davis and Spidey
- The first post-credit scene.

While TASM films I thought did a decent job recreating elements of the Spectacular Spider-Man cartoon, this film felt closer to the SSM cartoon come to life (combining different elements from the comics to create a unique and fun story)

I agree with everything people have said so far. I would list every scene in the movie if I could but I have to touch on Keaton's performance.

Wow. I've never taken a Spider-man movie villian seriously but this is a real freakin person. You understood him even when he was being cold and threatening to our Peter Parker.

Not only did god Keaton throw his heart into the role the writers made him such a loveable villain in the end.

When he just smiles and looks at Parker's note after being defeated and him smirking after lying to the sociopath about Parker's identity, I just melted.

You could tell ultimately he respected Peter more than anything and the Vulture's respect was not easily earned.

An awesome love letter to all those blue collar families and their untold journey.

What a classic superhero story. I loved every minute.

Truly a movie with many fantastic and enjoyable moments. My two standouts were dramatic ones: Peter trapped under the rubble and Toomes and Peter in the car, the best emotional and most tense scenes respectively out of all the CBMs we've had hitherto this year.

I think my favorite scene was the ending with Aunt May. It was just so unexpected and funny. I also liked all the scenes with the gym teacher and whenever they showed the Captain America PSAs.

There were so many scenes with my kind of humour in this movie. Just to name a few;
The scene where Ned is sitting in Peter's room as he crawls in through the window.
All the "news" airings on the school.
The kid playing chess behind the window at the school.
I also really liked the first time we see Peter change clothes. It was a rather different take on the classic "suit up" scene that most superhero movies have.

The Washington monument scene was probably my favorite. It felt really tense, and was pretty cool watching Peter climb it. I also think it was the first time he used his web wings.

I need to add the very first scene of the movie to this list. How can you not at least partially pull for Toomes after that? Especially seeing how he stood up not just for himself, but his whole crew--his family, as it were.

I absolutely loved the quick scene of him stealing Flash's car. Thought it was great that he lowered his voice and tried to sound all intimidating.

Then how he runs into the trash cans right in front of Flash. :lmao:

Absolutely CLASSIC.

The "MJ" scene.

Care to elaborate? I only ask because I and so many others didn't really care for it.

Rubble scene.

The way Peter screamed for help broke my heart. For a short moment, he was just a scared kid with no way out of a crappy situation.

Also after years and years of debating mechanical webshooters, MCU answers why they're the best gadget in comic book history.

Parker making his own formula, malfunctioning during battle, multi-settings, etc.

It's all there.

And this movie screamed from the mountain top, "NERDS ARE AWESOME" the way a Spider-man movie should.

Loved it.

Upon second viewing:

• The first scene in the movie is so awesome. Think I already gushed about it, but it sets up Toomes and the "bad guys" so well. Of course what they're doing is wrong, but I like that you feel for them, too. Everybody's been screwed before, and that's exactly what happened to the salvage crew here.

• There's a subtle homage to the finale of Spider-Man during the ferry scene. As everything begins falling apart after the first web snaps, Peter lunges out holding one web to grab the other and attempt to keep the ferry from falling apart. The pacing, the breath Spider-Man takes, the angle...it all reminded me of the scene where Spidey swings with one hand on his web and uses the other to grab the falling tram car in the first Raimi film.

i liked the speech toomes gave at the end.
about rich people not caring about them
just pave thier roads and fight there wars
clean up the mess
but they dont care

I been looking for the whole speech

Looking back I realize the Queen's montage was easily one of my favorite parts.

Back, as a teen, when I took the bus in the Bronx, I would always picture Spider-man going from roof top to roof top.

It was really cool seeing a realistic idea of what Spider-man would be like in a real NYC borough put into an actual Spider-man movie.

I can only imagine the crowd reactions in NYC.

So many cool scenes:
-Friendly Neighborhood Spidey montage
-Spidey trying to webzip to the Weapons test explosion but cant attach his web to anything :yay: one of those moments I never knew I wanted to see in a SM film until it happened
-Cap's gym routine video
-Instant Kill mode :woot:
-Interrogation
-Toomes discovering Petes identity
-Pete vs Shocker
-Rubble scene
-Tony/Pepper/Happy interaction (reminded me so much of their chemistry from IM1)
-Final shot

So many great and memorable scenes! To pick just a few of them:

-The Peter and Stark interraction after the ferry scene. Also, the Peter and May scene right after that.

-The rubble scene.

-The car scene where Toomes discovers Peter is Spider-Man.

Adding my voice to the rubble scene as one of the favorites. Tom delivered that scene very well.

So many favorite scenes. I love this movie. My favorite Spidey movie to date.

gosh.... the ENTIRE movie. :D its just that good :up: the whole John Hughes angle is just a stroke of genius really. it just checks off so many boxes that resounds so well with everybody.

highlights were the end parts though-- Aunt May finding out and Cap's PSA trolling :lmao:

i cant wait for the DVD for this.

So many great scenes! But my favorites...

-Spider-man helping with the small things (Catching the bike thief, etc).
-Taking on The Vulture and his gang as they hit the trucks.
-Being trapped and talking to Karen until the next morning.
-The whole Washington save scene.
-The Ferry scene.
-Tony and Peter's argument.
-The interrogation scene.
-The door scene reveal. The whole theater gasped.
-The car ride.
-The Shocker vs Spider-man at the school by the bus.
-Pulling himself out of the rubble.
-"What the **** ?" lol
