Well said.

One does not need to be weird looking to be an outsider.

let's also not forget... Peter of the comics is hot, and actually pretty attractive... and he get's very attractive women. It's his personality that's always made him a geek/nerd. not his looks

Yes.

I baffles me how many moviegoers got the notion that Pete's supposed to be ugly or something. He's a handsome dude, but smart as hell and initially pretty shy.

My impression of Garfield as Peter was never that he was too cool/handsome for the role. Perhaps the ladies on the forum will have a better perspective, but AG doesn't strike me as a hearthrob. I don't mean to suggest that he's ugly, but he looks like the guy you wouldn't notice in a crowd.

I think tastes have changed... in all honesty. I don't think people are going for the abercrombie model look anymore.. too perfect just isn't as attractive i guess. I've noticed it with my own personal tastes as well..

it's sorta the same for men.. would you rather be with a porn star? or Emma Stone?

Yes, he's not conventionally handsome.

... different tastes i know.. Emma Stone, Emma Watson, Jennifer Aniston, Jennifer Lawrence, etc......

or do you want a woman who looks plastic, bleach blonde hair, is dumber than a bag of nails, and wears far too much make-up? lol

the 90s were full of big boobed dimwitted models and actresses (even the men) it's a much different atmosphere today

Andrew Garfield literally looks like that one dude you see in the elevator sometimes that works in the graphics department and he's always carrying art supplies and ****.

I think you may have missed the "two chicks at the same time" reference I was going for with that image I posted. Or maybe it just wasn't as funny as I was hoping it'd be.

lol gotcha ( i do love office space though, just forgot about that part)

Peter looked very nerdy with his glasses. He looked like a dork. Not unattractive.

And in High School geeks and nerds were outcasts.

Weird looking, as in everything from weird haircut, weird clothes, and yes, weird glasses.

I never said Peter was ugly, because he isn't. You love disagreeing, don't ya?

I did not mention ugly in my post. I said he looked like a nerd.

You love looking for conflict when there isn't any don't ya.

Ayy lmao.

Anyway, Doctor Octopus. To clarify, you assumed I meant "unattractive" with weird looking - I did not. You're making this unessecarily complicated.

With 'unattractive' I assumed ugly.

You assumed incorrectly.

If someone looks weird to people then they are generally seen as unattractive. Not ugly, ugly is the most extreme of bad physical appearance.

You are the one making this unnecessarily complicated. You like conflict. Like the argument you were starting with chaseter in the TASM 3 forum. You just like to have digs at people. It's an unattractive quality.

Does Horner mean the script for Amazing Spider-Man 2 was terrible? How did he know it was terrible? Or did he start scoring the movie and later quit?

That is what I am wondering but if he quit later wouldn't that have given zimmer less time to work on it? But if zimmer had less time to work on it how did he make a score that nocked horners out of the ball park?

I see. Well, sorry about that then. I really did think you meant unattractive as in ugly.

Actually, it's just you two I like having digs at. :)
