What are the knocks on Evangeline Lilly on these boards? She's beautiful, has the Lois look and I thought she displayed a nice acting range on Lost alot of which would suit a good Lois Lane. Tough, feisty, didn't back down but at the same time her love scenes with Jack and Sawyer were amazingly believable.

In absence of Hathaway, Deschanel would be my number one choice. I like her as an actress, but if nothing else, nobody can claim that she's not attractive enough:

she can't act. She has this mouse quirky emoish acting that is great in simple love stories (ex. 500 Days of Summer), but she just doesn't cut it for the love interest of THE MAN OF STEEL. You know, she isn't the woman behind the MAN OF STEEL

I HATE Zooey. I don't find her attractive, she has permanent deer-in-headlights ping pong ball eyes, and her voice drives me insane. I could never believe that she's a hard-nosed reporter. Never ever. Never.

I still say that Laura Mennell, who played Janey Slater in Watchmen, would be perfect for Lois.

As I'm sure you can tell, she has a very versatile look and although she's pretty much an unknown she seems to be very good actress.

I wouldnt consider any of those "it" girls currently.

Olivia Wilde on the other hand I think is probably the biggest "it" girl of the moment and I think she would make a great Lois.

I've seen your posts on the subject over in the Batman forum, you've made your disdain well known. lol Like I said over there, Hathaway has been my pick for Catwoman for awhile. So I'm very happy with it.

Honestly seeing as the two projects are 'connected' there was a good chance you'd have seen her as LL if she hadn't been cast as Selina. Ironically enough. Sorry you dislike her so much(not being trite either). Hopefully Anne will pleasantly surprise you.

I know I'm waisting my breath when it comes to the Anne-haters(just like NOTHING you could say would ever dissuade the Heath-haters back before the release of TDK) but she is an Academy Award-nominated actress. I have faith in her.

I hope she surprises me, but I just don't like her. I actually liked heath ledger a lot before he was cast. Very charismatic kid. Anne just doesn't have a sexy bone in her body, and when she tries to be sexy, it's just embarrassing.

Anyways, at least she can't be lois now lol.

I would bring up Havoc but I already saw someone bring that up with you, and you indicated you HAD seen it and thought she wasn't sexy in at all. Which baffles me, but hey, beauty is in the eye of the *****- err, beholder.

Hathaway is now Catwoman (which I love), so I'm going to support to Missy Peregrym for Lois. Akerman would be fine IMO, I don't think she is all that bad.

I think Olivia Wilde could do a lot in the role, or maybe Mila Kunis. Black Swan showed what Mila is really capable of.
