Basically she has no source whatsoever, so is just throwing s*** at the wall that she thinks might happen so she can take credit if it does come to pass, and adding that it's not certain so that she has an explanation if it doesn't happen. Nobody should believe a word she says about anything after she so blatantly lied about The Mandalorian.

I think the whole Ryan Reynolds thing has been complete BS since day one. A) I dont believe Zack would want him on his movie B) I dont think Reynolds has any desire whatsoever to revisit the character especially since he struck gold with Marvel and Deadpool C) Ryan is a very expensive actor that would needlessly inflate the budget for what reason? Just cast a new unknown guy.

Also, I cant believe it seems people want this. I know the script and directing were the larger problems with Green Lantern but guys....Reynolds was completely miscast in the role. He’s not Hal Jordan.

Eh, I'm not counting out anything at this point, man. Reynolds did mention he would play GL if Snyder asked. Also, Affleck, Gadot, Leto, and now allegedly Margot ain't cheap either, more importantly this would be only for a cameo type. I'm just saying we can't disregard this so far, and thicc grace as crazy as she may be does have at least one source at WB. She was one of the few adamant that Zack was coming back at least a good three months before all this. Granted, she takes her few sips of tea and goes off the rails, but I blame it on her thiccness.

The same reason why they're not using Disney+ to its fullest with all the Fox's movies and shows they own all because they're R rated or geared more towards adults.

I was always under the impression that Hal WAS quippy and ad-libby... at least in the animated stuff I have seen...

My take on the GL movie is that it came off as geared more to a younger audience even tho it may not have been intended. More wrong tone to me than anything else... and wrong way to portray some characters including and especially Parallax...

I just looked up the film to remember Parallax and noted it was directed by Martin Campbell...
He directed Casino Royal (with cheese)... one of my favorite Bond films and one of the best IMO.
Go figure...

The again 2020 has been a strange year where anything can happen. I thought for sure we’d never see Leto again but here we are lol

Would be funny to see him come back as Hal and somehow incorporate this onto Deadpool 3

He also directed Mask of Zorro, which was also great (its sequel, not so much). And Goldeneye, the best Brosnan Bond flick. The Foreigner was solid too. Martin Campbell's a really good action director who could've directed a damn good superhero flick, imo - just not one so dependent on CGI. That ain't his wheelhouse. Plus the script sucked, mangling the defining qualities of it's main character. Hal Jordan's anything BUT a reluctant hero. And 95% of that movie should've been set in goddamn space.

Also, Reynolds will always be wrong for Hal Jordan, imo.
