I think he could be Lobo, Martian Manhunter, Shazam (Capt marvel), or Black Adam since he's ruled out GL.

I just read in an article that Black Adam has evolved into more of an anti-hero or hero, and he's heavily involved in some way with the New 52.

My guess is Martian Manhunter, but that's just a guess. Johnson could really be anybody, besides GL and Black Adam. It does sound like he's a hero or anti-hero though, and not a villain who would be extinguished within one or two movies.

Am I the only one that thinks Black Adam has no place in the current DC movie Universe, what with the utter lack of Captain Marvel, or dozens of other characters that are vastly more important and appropriate for a fledgling universe?

Am I the only one who thinks that Rock as a hero would be the only smart move for DC right now?

I don't know but Black Adam was the Captain Marvel of ancient Egypt. so that could fit for the things. Also BA could be awesome to see. and no need for Shazam at first.

The other choices I see are Martian Manhunter, Black Adam, possibly Hawkman, I'd mark for an Icon film but I'd put that at O.000001%

It could rock BA before Shazam I mean he was 5,000 years before Captain Marvel being a hero. And if they put an anti-hero, narcisit he's now could be interesting.
My other options are MM and Lobo.
Also it's kinda odd calling himself Shazam and not being a kid again?

That's a shame for John Stewart, but Rock will certainly bump the popularity of the character he's playing. Let's just hope Warner Bumbles doesn't stick him in a film that has bad writing.

I've been hoping Lobo would happen for years now. I got hyped for it when The Rock said he was going to play him some years ago. I kinda hope that's who he is, but I could see him as MM/Shazam/Adam.

As far as our avy's go, heck yes. That would be awesome to see. I'm a big fan of The Shield as well. Wyatt/Shield is the best thing going on in the WWE.
