Justice League Ray Fisher Is Victor Stone/Cyborg

The more I look at Cyborg design, the more it grows on me. And I liked it initially. Really dope.

GCU: Gotham City University I presume?

My take on the reason why Cyborg is in this movie is since his creation required a Motherbox, or the Motherbox saved his life, whichever way you look at it, and he will be able to communicate/sense Motherbox activity/presence. This would be a key role if the Motherboxes are the Macguffin of the story. Also, his abilities would help with hacking into electronic systems, etc.

His ability, knowledge and communication with earthly or other worldly technology will bring a lot to the table IMO.

It looks like it says "Gotham" on the banner behind. And, as seen from the football jerseys in BvS, black and yellow seems to be Gotham's color scheme.

Victor isn't originally from Gotham though, isn't he?

I like the way Cyborg looks now, it's his year 0 basically. He still doesn't know how to use his powers. But in JL2 and the Cyborg solo I hope he's developed to the point where he can be more "human" not just in character, but aesthetically as well.

I dont think this Cyborg has both his arms(thats a shame for him). But its a very comic-accurate look.Come to think of it,Snyder has nailed the "look" of the characters so far. :)

I think his design looks good. But you know who could make a great looking Cyborg film? Neill Blomkamp. It's probably a long shot, but it would be great if WB targeted him for the Cyborg solo movie. If there's one director out there whose effect team are MASTERS at creating realistic looking robot tech, it's that guy. Just imagine how amazing Cyborg could look (and I say that as someone who thinks he looks pretty awesome now).

Yeah as Cyborg he seems a bit short. The actor is huge in real life.

Well, it's more to do with how he was described in the set visits and me thinking they were going to use a more bulky design.

Hope some of Cyborg's combat look like this.

After going back and rewatching BvS I noticed that he only has half of his right arm remaining.

He'll eventually learn how to regen his whole body to it's pre-accident form.

I hope not, as I hated that. You can make a potent character arc of a person coming to terms with his own tragedy and using his disability that prevents him from having normal life to do good, but no, lets go for "hey, I'm magically fixed, but I can still use cyborg tech when I want to. Cool!". Screws up the character greatly.

No it doesn't. It makes it more compelling. Vic doesn't know whether he's still human or just a machine pretending to be human. I think that's better than "I have no genitals so I'm forever alone".

It could also make for a cool arc of him being stuck in his cyborg form for a while before he discovers that power and as a result he uses it often because he is ashamed and the arc would instead become him becoming comfortable with his new body rather than relying on his technology to look like his old self and be ashamed of the true him.

Cyborg to appear in "The Flash" movie (EXCLUSIVE) http://bit.ly/2aZ1Myk

Cyborg will appear in “The Flash,” sources tell Variety.
It’s not known how substantial a role the hero will play in the film. But it’s another signal of DC Comics and Warner Bros.’ ambitions to build a sprawling, cinematic universe to compete with Marvel Studios, one where heroes and villains will pop up in solo spinoff adventures, as well as lend support to other costumed allies. Cyborg’s appearance in “The Flash” and next year’s “Justice League” are intended to whet audiences’ interest in the character, building toward a potential, standalone “Cyborg” film in 2020.

The film will begin shooting this year in London, and is expected to open in 2018.

If the Cyborg stuff leans more into the 'digital hero' or 'connected hero' instead of just another robocop, then there's a ton of potential there, completely fresh territory.
