By edge do you mean when Star Lord mentions how Corpsman Dey got his "dick message"? Or perhaps Drax drunk dialing Ronan?

Honestly that was some Bay-level stuff. LOL

Hahah. :woot:

This stuff might be the same type of humour as Bay but not the same level. Bay's jokes don't raise a laugh while Gunn's ones in Guardians do (for me).

Thor: Ragnarok - Taika's all out hilarious, self-mocking 80s-esque Marvel movie is fine entertainment. Love the score, lots of goofy laughs.

The many cameos are amusing, Stan Lee's is actually part of the plot! Taika's cast is all of his fave people having so much fun. Good times.

How 'Ragnarok' is it, though? Did you feel the dread? The end of all things? Were the stakes sufficiently high?
- Yeah, actually. At least for Asgard. It's pretty epic.

Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie in Thor: Ragnarok is !!! Seriously hot damn.

Wow. The moment you do a sequel some dont like that much, you (by you I mean Whedon and Gunn) go from saviors to destitutes as quickly as Flash with diarrhea running to the bathroom...

I guess, despite what they always said, sports fans and superhero fans are quite similar...

The new boy in the hood always trascends what came before, the new movie always shines better...

Its allmost entertaining.

I like AOU more than The Avengers by a healthy margin and I enjoyed GOTG about as much as the first one. Well maybe a little less since the other Guardians took even more of a backseat to Peter.

That's not even close to Bay-level lol. When they start doing swinging robot testicles, or humping rats (Bad Boys 2), humping robots (whatever Transformer movie that was) then you know they've hit rock bottom :funny:

Gunn is peering over that edge. LOL

The moment I saw the Construct-a-balls I wanted to walk out of the theater.

That so many reviewers keep citing Valkyrie as a high point in the movie has me chuckling about the troll that used to be in her thread.

Don't know but they gave Thor 81 and TDW 77.

Any idea what they gave SMH and GotG2?

87/100 for SMH and 83/100 for GOTG2. I believe it might still fluctuate a bit, but for now Ragnarok actually has the second highest rating in the MCU, behind GOTG's 91/100. For another comparison, we all know how much praise Logan got and it has a 87/100. I don't know exactly how their ratings work and sometimes the scaling feels a bit weird, but they're a legit organization and a nice barometer for critical reaction. Bodes pretty well if you ask me, especially for me, as I love all movies mentioned above. :woot:

How might it fluctuate, is it a series of reviews?

I believe it is. It's a critic's association with its own awards, after all. I guess it's an average rating based on the scores given by its members. And my mind might be playing tricks on me, but I remember SMH fluctuating between 86 and 90 before stabilizing at 87. It's a fantastic start, anyway.

Critics choice is promising, but they're also potentially a bit misleading since they're based off a few reviews. I remember they gave Age of Extinction like a 100 / 100 at the start, no joke.
