At this point, I have to wonder what a person's issue is for them to leap to a dig at Rey.
I personally hate the idea that you have to be from a famous bloodline to be unusually strong in the Force. I was much more into the idea of her being a "nobody," tbh.I always liked Rey and still do, I think people had an issue with things coming a bit easy for her at times, but the Palpatine connection showed why that was for me, and was something I liked in TROS.

Rey's heritage being insignificant and cementing Kylo as the villain were my two favorite parts of Last Jedi, so naturally JJ had to undo both of them.I personally hate the idea that you have to be from a famous bloodline to be unusually strong in the Force. So, after this finale...
is Mando over now? Kind of seems like it with the Boba Fett series now taking over? His story seems finished and all the creatives look like they’ve moved onto different Star Wars shows.
I don’t get, why it’s a big problem now for Bo Kattan to defeat Din in a battle? Mando defeated Moff Gideon and spared his life. Bo Kattan can still defeat Din and not killing him

TROS is a strange beast for me. I don't hate it. But good god, I have some strong feelings about JJ and Terrio's work on it...
I will say this and leave this convo...
I don't think for one milisecond that either Terrio or J.J. had much say of ANYTHING in TROS.
I think they were given obvious mandates, abided by them for that sweet, sweet cash, and were then addtionally told that they were gonna have to pack it all into a run time that was calcuated to make the optimum amount of showings in a day.
And thus I stand by this...
Disney/Lucasfilm overreacted to online hostility towards TLJ, meddled too much in trying to make a "safe" product and in trying to placate the fans, made a hot mess of a movie that ultimately satisfied very few.

Yeah I have to agree with this. I don't hate TROS like many. But even as someone who hates TLJ and thought it caused too many problems for the 3rd movie. They either needed to run with what TLJ had set up, or retcon the hell out of it.
In the end they did a mixture of both and didn't go far enough with either, which just didn't help matters in the end.
Still, at least TROS gave us actual scenes of Rey training and Luke being more back to his old self.
