**OFFICIAL** Thor: Love & thunder spoilers thread

Loved the first scene with Guardians wish they were in it more and again when are we going to see Drax the Destroyer actually destroy some fools no wonder Dave wants out after Volume 3

I don’t think Drax actually had any lines in this

Speaking of Thanos....I found it strange to have an entire restaurant or whatever it was dedicated to the Infinity Gauntlet. The thing that lead to the massacre of their people and they....gave it a store?

There is "Thanos was right" merchandise in the MCU.

Word! Had no reaction to it when I saw it but yeah if your family got blipped then you csn see that as toned death maybe Tony's Gauntlet would have been in better taste

This movie also kind of showed why team ups can't work all the time. Thor took out the army of enemies they were fighting, we can never have the GOTG be partnered with him or CM in a team up. Warlock is basically going to be that in their movie though he has been in cartoons and the game.

Another thing Hulk missing from this was annoying because he was such a big part of The last one established that he was close to Valkerie why wouldn't she call him when new asgard got attacked? The more I think about the movie the more I did like it. As far as im concerned Phase 4 has been a dud only Spiderman was great but was technically a Sony movie
Dr Strange 2 and Shang Chi not withstanding

He's busy with the events of She-Hulk.

Well there are two solutions to that, generally:

1. Have a bigger baddie distract the more powerful heroes while the weaker ones fight mooks.

2. Have the mooks appear in basically endless numbers, so the more powerful heroes can't possibly wipe them all out.

This is how all the previous Avengers movies handled it. Whereas this movie just had basically a regular alien army, so of course they stood no chance against Thor.

Yeah, I really want to rewatch the start as those scenes were better than I expected.

Maybe that's when- he goes in a blaze of glory in Vol 3.

Loved seeing Eternity and that was pretty mind blowing to me.
Did you guys saw the statue of the One Above All?

I mean Gunn owes him that I think but Gunn casting him in the first is what propelled his career imo so he should take nothing and like it lolol. Sorry watching caddyshack like right now right now

Was there one? I assume you mean the Celestial One Above All and not the One-Above-All that is literally God, since the latter doesn't have a defined appearance. I think the hall had Eternity at the end, on its right side it went Living Tribunal, Uatu the Watcher, Arishem (whose statue was destroyed) and then the left side was Death, Eon, Infinity.

I really hope that in a future project we see
an Amadeus & Herc teamup.
They are like the perfect odd couple that complement each others' skills and personalities. They could have an amazing dynamic. Plus with the large amount of Hercules movie adaptations this would really set Marvel's version apart. Besides their comics together I'd also like to see them take some inspiration from Fate/Zero's Waver+Iskandar dynamic.

I would assume they have Hercules be a villain for part of the movie, I don't think he will stay bad and they will fight Zeus or another villain. It was Brett Goldstein he is in Ted Lasso which I know is pretty popular show. I never watched it so not sure if Goldstein is good or his style.
Yeah I feel like I wouldn’t have been nearly as excited about Goldstein showing up as Hercules if I hadn’t watched Ted Lasso. I highly recommend the show, btw. Goldstein plays one of the best characters on the show.

You know what joke weirdly rubbed me the wrong way? When Korg was recounting Thor’s history and he gets to the part where the Warriors Three all died and he was like “anddd whoever the Hell these people were died,” I was like “damn thats kind of a mean spirited joke against those actors.” Its like literally saying no one gave a crap about any of those characters. I know i know, its not that serious and its just a joke but…ouch. Haha

I'm a big fan of Taika's dark humor. I will defend to the death Korg's foundations speech in Ragnarok.

Just remembered two scenes, that cracked me up:
Thor riding Stormbraker like a witch on Indigarr
Also laughed a lot about Korgs god: Ninny of the Nonny

How could I forget, Ninny of the Nonny! Lol :D

Also, Dwayne… that’s a The Rock joke isn’t it?

I just saw this as being told from Korg's narrative pov as he didn't really know them (an as Thor new bbf, probably was a little jealous of their past history with Thor) so, from his prospective they weren't a note worthy part of "his story", but, that doesn't take away from their actual character history

How do we feel about Thor being a Dad now of an adopted child? Thor doesnt fit into this imo.
I was really annoyed by this to be honest..

Ninny of the Ninny and Thor riding Stormbreaker like a witch was hilarious.

I've been walking around randomly saying "Ninny of the Nonnyyyy" all weekend.
