But I like the fact that your contribution to this thread has been ranging from downplaying Ezra physically attacking people, to try to call out people who happened to used wrong pronouns, even though you have admitted you knew there was no bad intent in that. I did address them. I said Ezra deserved to be punished. I only ever explained why I didn’t see WB replacing them at the time, which you conveniently ignore. I still question if WB will, but time will tell. Whatever the case, Ezra needs to face consequences and get real help.

Also I didn’t admit anything about intent. I never commented on anyone’s intent at all. You seem to be spending a lot of time on what you assume to be mine though.

I mean, I think 'You can dislike them and also gender them properly' is quite obviously attempting to imply a direct causational link between my stated dislike of Ezra Miller, and my error in having used the wrong pronouns to refer to them. As though it were a purposeful act of malevolence on my part. It's really a rather disingenuous and, as someone else stated, quite a snide way to go about correcting someone. That's what people are referring to when they talk about your intent. But I think you already knew that heh.

I wasn’t implying anything. I have also misgendered them in this same thread. When it was corrected, I just adjusted my language and moved on. It’s lazy to me to not bother doing the 30 seconds of research on someone’s preferred pronouns before typing up a post on them. It was lazy of me when I didn’t do it. My only point here is to take the time to get it right. It isn’t some covert character assassination and I don’t know any of you to make any claims about what your true intent was. I also don’t care. I’m literally only talking about making the effort to get pronouns right. That is it. Good lord.

Edit: Don’t really wanna keep this going. Mods said to keep it civil so I will abide. Genuinely wasn’t trying to imply anything about anyone’s character. I have to honor the pronouns of everyone I work with and interview as part of my job. Getting it wrong can still get us fired, since my company focuses on impact not intent. So I’m sure that’s at least part of why I’m more sensitive to it. I also speak pretty bluntly on it because the position I hold requires me to. So I’m also sure that transfers over to my normal conversations.

At any rate, I’m also an impact not intent sorta guy. So I have to buck up and respect when my impact was negative. Apologies if it seemed I was accusing anyone of transphobia or anything like that. I’ll work on my language to prevent that sorta miscommunication going forward.

Haha okay that’s good. For what it’s worth, I do agree that Ezra seems easy to dislike.

I'm not defending their actions and conduct but it seems that people are being selective with the reporting.

Ezra is NO longer in Hawaii, and they’ve only been arrested twice.

I wonder how they plan on spinning the Multiverse here in the DCEU with this film? Given that for the MCU their version of the Multiverse deals in not only time travel but also the supernatural and mystic arts with Strange and Spidey. With Flash you have time travel and what not but not supernatural or mystic arts in this film.

Honestly, I really like Flash's costume (I don't think this is a popular opinion lol). Sort of tired of the super streamlined superhero costumes. This bulky costume looks a bit silly, a bit goofy, but still cool.

I’m one of the few who prefers the original costume. New one just looks kinda busy to me. But we’ll see how it looks on screen.

LOATHE the helmet. The boots are nice. The belt ending at the hips was a mistake....Id rather stick with the Snyder outfit vs this one.

The costume is technically more in line with what I wanted, but the execution is pretty bad imo. The helmet is the worse part and they have once again gotten the helmet ear wing/ lighting bolt wrong.
