Marvel Films MCU X-Men - Part 4

I wonder if Shadow King could carry a full film as the main adversary—like Legion, he’s probably be best-served in a series on Disney+. I just wonder if SK’s possession & antics outside of his astral form is that interesting. Do people really want to see a Psi-War or Muir Island Saga adaptation?

I just hope he’s ugly and shaggy. But yeah an mcu wolverine versus hulk death match would rock and be such a great way to introduce the two. Who would you get to direct such a film?

I mean, I appreciate Wolverine getting the crap kicked out of him as much as anyone, but why would you want to introduce a new character via a curbstomp fight? *ahem*

( Or, to be more blunt: Wolverine has no business fighting the Hulk, he is not in the same weight class whatsoever. Any fight between him and the green guy should consist of Logan doing his best to not-die while fighting someone he can't hurt in any substantial way at all. )

We known there will not be sequels to New Mutants and Dark Phoenix but the Deadpool sequel will be part of the MCU. Would Marvel Studios consider brining Dafne Keen X-23 into the MCU since her live action debut Film Logan was a success?

Why not? Iron Man in the Hulkbuster Armor defeated the Hulk.

I'd like to see a villanious Emma Grace Frost first before joining the X-Men.
I agree. I really like the Emma Frost/Scott Summers pairing but they shouldn't skip her villainous phase and redemption arc. Also, I'm not sure I want them to start out with an older, more experienced Cyclops either and it's not a couple that works with a shy, nerdy, young Scott. Unless it's some kind of Mrs Robinson thing. And I don't see that happening (as entertaining though that might be).

Hope not. 1 actor from the FoX era in the same role is enough.

I'd love a Muir Island Saga film. It would need to be properly built up by other films leading into it (and ditch the stupid bdsm costumes), but get that right and it'd be absolutely brilliant, imo.

shadow king would be very psychological which would be interesting. Think inception with xmen

classic underdog story! Think about how badly The Bride in Kill Bill copped it and how much audiences cheered her on! Plus, that’s part of the fun of having two combatants with healing factors just going at it

About HulkvLogan:

Uh... Hulk is TOTALLY the type of opponent a character named Wolverine should be facing off against, especially because on paper the disparity seems so massive in difference. But that healing factor, the "unbreakable" bones, and Logan just being an ornery SOB adds up to a pissed off super hero that can indeed hang with someone that trades blows with gods.

My two cents.

Personally, I don't care anything about Hulk, never mind seeing him fight Wolverine, but if the matchup is that popular and if it's going to push what Wolverine can do to its fullest limits, then it should show up late in the series rather than early. You don't want the show to peak in intensity at the very beginning.

If the MCU doesn’t give us Wolverine vs Hulk, Rogue flying or Storm being played by a capable actress, I don’t want it.

All those demands are non-negotiable.

The most interesting part of X Men to me is how mutants will be introduced and where they have been this whole time.

And Cyclops as the clear leader and a main player/star, Kitty fully developed, Jubilee with actual dialogue/arc, and Gambit as a team member.

I wont accept anything less.

I am not 100% sure we'll see Avengers vs. X-Men. I think we'll see Thunderbolts/Dark Avengers vs. X-Men, but not Avengers vs. X-Men. I say this based on the fact that if the plot of the X-Men (and mutants in general) are that they are wanted fugitives, a lot of the current heroes will be sympathetic towards their plight due to Civil War.

Probably not going to happen as I would not be surprised if OG Hulk retires for good following She Hulk.

within the MCU, if they say the x-gene has been dormant and then unleashed by some event, then many online comic fans will be upset b/c it would make them more like inhumans. but if you are going to make mutants heroes, then there's no other way you can explain their existence and not helping out during infinity war/endgame.

One theory I read is that perhaps mutants have had powers for a while, but they hide it. Another is that Professor Xavier and a group of Mutant telepaths do the MIB thing with mind wiping the existence of mutants from humankind.

As for Eternals?

Eric Voss of New Rockstars has a theory as to why they were not involved in any major events such as Infinity War and End Game. He says that the Eternals memories as Eternals were wiped by Sprite, which was why they were never involved in Infinity War and End Game but that Thanos and the Infinity Stones could restore their memories.

yeah plus I feel like we haven’t properly seen hulk rage since the first avengers movie and it would be fun to give us one feral wolverine versus hulk rage super battle.

honestly the memes alone would be worth it

I think it has a good chance. I remember a while ago Ruffalo was interviewed somewhere and he basically told Feige that he’d love to take on Wolverine. But we’ll see.

It's Wolverine's debut appearance in Marvel comics, which is why it's so classic. It's not something you want late in Wolverine's career but very early on, before he is even part of the X-Men, and when he's more arrogant, full of himself and over-confident. He's brash, thinks he's invincible with his healing factor and adamantium exo-skeleton, and that his claws can rip through anything.

Otherwise it would be like putting Casino Royale at the end of Bond's career instead of right at the beginning.

I don't know that these episodes will be in chronological order, and even if they were you'd get stuff like his origin, World War II, and Weapon X before Hulk. All of this is presumably prior to him joining the X-Men. I'm just saying these episodes shouldn't lead off with it.

God, I hope it doesn't happen. Not only it doesn't make sense, but it would be based on one of the worst stories/events I've read from Marvel.

What episodes?

And since it wouldn't necessarily be in chronological order as you say, then there's no reason to have his origin, WWII and Weapon X before Hulk. They can rewind to all of that later on and start with his debut fighting the Hulk, which would be the most spectacular way to introduce him in the MCU. In fact, you want him almost a blank slate when he first appears, as he did in the Hulk, so that he's more mysterious rather than showing all his origin and early history first.
