I'm gonna bring this back to yesteryear and say The Last Sunrise
No one has quite filled his shoes. Nolan tried, but Sunrise was a freak of nature.

the superstar shakeup really hurt smackdown
i mean raw has been stale for a long time, but atleast to begin with smackdown was really becoming the a show
not to mention splitting up tag teams left and right
Yeah, the Miz was making SD his show. I like the pairing of him with Axel and Dallas, but it's not the same as his work on SD. I was tuning in for him and AJ every week.
People are completely missing the point of what was awesome about SmackDown. We were getting stuff like a AJ and Cena and the whole dynamic that always lead to fun with Cena against a favorite of the hardcores. We were getting a man fighting for redemption in Dolph Ziggler, and a champion who said he didn't have what it took, We were getting a very tense, believable, issue between a GM and former great wrestler and a former reality TV star turned wrestler who isn't seen as tough. We were getting meaty or a the very least fun stories (Heath Slater and Rhyno) Now, we're getting "America sucks! No, America rules!" Smackdown went from good TV to derpy BS in a matter of months, and they roped Owens into it with his current gimmick.

NextNolan was the one who used to say he went to all of the big events every year (including those in Japan) but got caught in the lie, right?
Yeah, he would tell us he was at SDCC and stuff but wasn't at all.
