The trailers have been kind of weak imo.
The trailers have been kind of weak imo.
We shall see. I think it will do very well regardless.I'll be extremely surprised if this manages to equal MoM's performance tbh, and even Ragnarok's numbers will be a tall order without Russia or China. I think its probably a consequence of the delayed marketing campaign and general MCU fatigue.
If it ends up with a higher score on RT then that might help, but ultimately I think this film just can't replicate MoM's hype due to the lack of multiversal cameos (and the most highly anticipated cameos have been confirmed to be cut from the film).
.
MOM definitely benefited from the cameo-bait. X-men, F4, Inhumans, "What If"... stuff that amounted to nothing basically. Not to mention the many rumored other stuff that didn't happen att all and was discussed ad nauseam, Deadpool, Balder the Brave, Superior Iron Man... Regarding the TLT cameos, most people had no clue about those cameos either. There where rumblings which the hardcore fans knew but otherwise i don't think that's a big factor for the general audience.
I agree. And the fact that they left them so late can't have helped either. Like, obviously its not a good idea to release a trailer too early, but a marketing window of less than 3 months isn't enough for most movies IMO.
Lmao they dropped those trailers like "Ahhh f***, I almost forgot we do got another movie coming out".
Its a negative side-effect of pumping out so much content.
Not to mention this:
What is this ?

Cool, big opening weekend on the cards then.Update. It might be heading into mid to high 20’s, possibly targeting a Top 5 MCU spot.
I'm with you and wishing Marvel would dial back the content but they won't and I understand why.
**** no! I want more, I want it all and I want it now! I've been waiting since 80's for these and all you spoiled brats who are getting all this without a 30 year wait, can just go live somewhere with no internet for the rest of your lives!
I've always been more of a quality over quantity type of person, it has nothing to do with being spoiled.
it would've been so damn good lmaoNot to mention this:
Why not both? I've liked all MCU stuff so far. Far From Home has been the weakest for due to trailers spoiling and telegraphing the movie too much and the humor now working so well.
Because you can't have both without one of them suffering eventually.
Says who?
I meant you can't have both for a long period of time with one or the other faltering.
I'm saying you can.
