Oh good, more indie crap. Why am I paying for PS Plus again?

Wow, way to dismiss an entire category of games. Maybe try playing the individual games before judging? Spelunky is ****ing rad.

Have they ever dropped recent AAA titles for Plus? I don't get why there would be expectation for such unless it's been a thing before. Like Soapy said, expand your mind, let the indies in.

Online access and great deals on the PS store

whats your definition of recent? If its titles less than a year old (which every single PS4 title would qualify as) than, yes.

It's pretty unrealistic to expect big games for Playstation Plus on the PS4 anyway. The reason they can do that on PS3 is it because it has a huge library of games to pull from. Not so much on the PS4.

IDA. That may have been the case within launch window but we nearing the year point. I don't think its unrealistic for at least launch titles to be up. Knack and Killzone seem like prime candidates. Even something like NBA 2K14 (bc how many are still gonna buy that with 15 out), seems plausible

Sure. I have no doubt stuff like Knack will end up on there soon. I guess I meant games people would actually want to play.

Haha, fair enough. I always thought that Drive Club would be the first retail game and once they release that, they would be expected to follow up with one every month. With that one out, I kind of expect a launch title from last year to be offered to coincide with the one year anniversary

I picked up my copy of NBA2K15 today. Gonna fire it up when I get off of work. Anyone else got that yet?

Nah, I'm still on '14 :hehe: Maybe I'll get '15 eventually. I'm just gonna enjoy Driveclub and Destiny for the time being.

Not really sure why they feel the need for a super realistic Jak n Daxter, but I don't think that design is unworkable.

I think they asked themselves that same question man. But yeah, all the other concept arts were awful, that one in particular I think they should go with if there even gonna do a realistic looking J&D

I hope when we do get Theme support, we won't be limited to a few preset themes that we have to download from the store.

hope we can create our own custom themes and use our own pics as background. just like we could on the PS3.

Phil Spencer just commented that the X1 will be getting not only theme support but background pics in future updates.

Yeah, hated that one. I didn't spend all that money on a powerhouse gaming system so I could play 16-bit looking games on it.

Thankfully, there's more than that available to you. You might want to try Destiny. Huge team. Gigantic budget. Polar opposite of indie. Obviously it must be great. You'll probably love it.

I heard the single player story campaign experience in that game is deep, lengthy, and epic. EPIC!!

:o

oh.........wait.

Most likely yes. That pic has been online even before PS4 was first revealed.

Honestly as much as I dig indie gaming.. I can understand this viewpoint. Ps+ has...well.. Kind of sucked since the PS4 launch. I keep telling myself that will change but I have this sneaking feeling that from here on in we're only gonna get small indie titles on it from now on.

Doesn't matter to me as long as the games are good. Couldn't care less how big the budget a game has or how many people worked on it.

Uc2 cost $20 mill to make. By comparison, Destiny cost $500 mill to make and.... lol

So the PS TV will allow me to play my PS4 games on a different TV correct. Iv recently moved my ps4 downstairs as my sister has a few games for it, but I prefer to game in my room. If I get the ps TV, I'll be able to hook that up in my room and stream the games off my ps4 which is downstairs correct?

If Destiny really did cost 500 million, then I would love to see an itemized bill.

I'm guessing most of it was marketing.

Yeah, the marketing for Destiny was crazy. Seen that game everywhere months before it was even close to being released.

I never understood the hype for it, when it was first announced though. Didn't really catch my interest and it still doesn't. But then again, I never liked the Halo series.

I thought it was going to be an epic sci-fi story (er....no) setting up the extensive lore for a generation spanning franchise and then great co-op (which they've partly delivered on) and multiplayer (nope). I thought it was going to be one of the biggest new things in gaming and even if it did that sales wise, the franchise will be spent unless they sort it out with massive changes in the very near future.
