I buy it. If it was up to Pelmutter he would order 3 Iron Man sequels per phase. He likes making money but he doesn't care about the characters.

He had no problem doing it with Howard and i'm sure as hell he wouldn't hesitate to kick RDJ. He already tried to boot him fromt he Civil war script until Feige convinced the cheap n&tjob that you can't make a Civil War movie without Cap AND Iron Man.

Marvel was always oddly evasive about Black Panther and Captain Marvel films. This might explain why.

Which is why I'm glad Perlmutter has been punted away from the movie division and Kevin Feige has full reign now. Perl thought that female superhero movies couldn't sell and apparently thinks no one wants to see a black superhero movie. He's a creepy cheap old man that needed to get the boot and was holding the Marvel Studios back.

Yeah, it's rumor.......but I wouldn't be shocked in the least if that one is true.

Marvel has been planting seed for Black Panther longer than any other property. It always seemed odd that they never got around to it and when Phase 2's slate was announced with no Panther a lot of people were mad about it.

Which made no sense considering they had JUST announced Guardians of the Galaxy and made it a point to say the next Thor film would have more scenes off earth.

to be fair, it's alot easier to create a fictional world than create a psuedo real world. Wakanda can't really look like asgard on earth.. and takes a bit more careful planning since it's suppose to feel like our planet.. and not another where physics can bend.

So I have an idea for how this could end.

Iron Man is beating the hell out of Cap and is ready to kill him after finding out that the Winter Soldier did indeed kill his parents. Iron Man rips Winter Soldiers arm off and Bucky is on the ground fading fast from the sudden shock. As Tony prepares to deliver a final blow Cap is like, "Save James".

And Tony is confused.

"Rhodey is outside. I checked his vitals he's fine."

"No, the winter soldier, Bucky. His name is James."

Tony's repulsor stops charging and he lowers his hand. They're friends have the same name. Tony realizes he's wrong, Cap is just a man trying to do what he see's right like Tony. So Tony carries Bucky back to a facility where he is helped Cap as well. The Civil War over because their friends have the same name. I know it sounds simplistic and cheesy. But I think its just what we need.
