Justice League Henry Cavill IS Clark Kent/Superman - - - - - - Part 15

I think Irons sells it so well. In BvS he was so reverential towards him with the whole , "He is not our enemy" bit and then to meet an actual God who has risen from the dead, the tiny little bow he does as he says, "Master Kent" is just brilliant.

Although, without really knowing the context of why Superman goes to Alfred, I can understand why that bit would have been cut.

The context was probably that this scene followed after Superman gets his costume, then goes to the manor to find out where Bruce and the team are. In the movie, he just shows up.

Would you look at that sexy upper lip...

These deleted clips with Cavill really make me pine for what could have been. Whoever made the final decision at WB to restrict the movie to strictly under 2hrs really made a mistake, these scenes - whilst not affecting the main storyline - add more of a central character we love, and flesh out his return somewhat, which felt a bit rushed in the film. Would 2hrs 10 mins have killed them?

Now that's Superman.

The lighting in this shot is great. Still don't like the suit as much as the MOS one, but he looks more tanned and Superman-like in this shot than in the actual film.

"Snyder didn't you read my notes? Where's the old lady ranting about anal probing with bleeped out swearing? If we don't do it, Bobbie from Moviez4ever.com will give us a rotten rating! That's it. If you won't write dumb, lazy gags... I know someone who will"

ya. that's just terrible. the director himself (Joss Whedon) made jokes about the alien invasion (the main storyline) in the movie. so disgusting.
Nobody felt the threat, except for Bruce.

This is the Henry Cavill thread so I'm going ole school and admitting I'm checking out his butt in those pants and suit.

how do you guys compress gif's to fit the avatar size limit but maintain the quality?

You know? I was perfectly fine with the "loosening of the tie" as the modern equivalent to the "shirt rip"; I actually didn't want the shirt rip because of the whole suit being under the clothes and stuff...but I guess I was completely wrong :hmr::hmr::hmr:

(Also love the way is shot, as in the scene cuts the moment we see the shield, instead of letting it linger as in previous versions, which always seem kind of stupid to me, as in Superman "posing" for the camera)

I like how Superman floats up and then takes off, as opposed to how he used to fly like a rocket taking off in the first movie.

#characterprogression.

The feeling that you get when you realize that in Snyder's original cut of "Justice League",

1. Clark and Lois are officially engaged

2. Clark is shown making that transition in leaving his doubts behind as he reclaims his suit from the scout ship

3. The film would have come off as more of a proper ending to the trilogy that he started with "Man of Steel" where we would have seen the journey of how Clark went to become Superman and a member of the Justice League.

Same here. I noticed a big change to how he flew from BvS onwards. As you pointed out, it's very organic and more natural than the rougher speed based take offs and landings. One of my favourite moments of him flying was the shot from above, of him lowering Lois after rescuing her from the LexCorp building fall. That and how he subsequently takes off. It gave it a really grounded and natural look of being at one with the element around rather than aggressively "punching" through it.

:hmr: Where's that from?
Jason Laboy's twitter. If im not mistaken, he was the photographer at the ACE Comic Con who took the pictures of JL casts with the fans. He was also the one who ask Ciaran Hinds and the other cast members about the Snyder Cut...
