Tom Holland is breathing easier now that he gets to continue in the MCU.

Yeah....already had to delete it twice.lol, he posted on his Instagram a clip of DiCaprio in Wolf of Wall Street screaming "I'M NOT ****ING LEAVING!!!"
"Madame Web movie".As much as I dislike the MCU version, this is the best thing for Spider-Man at least for the time being. Sony will have the character back again to themselves at some point but now is not the time.
They made the right decision to keep negotiating. I believe there isn't enough of that yellow 'crime scene keep out' tape available to enclose the fiery wreck that would have ensued with Sony at the helm.

Awesome, now connect Venom and Morbius to the MCU
Yep. I liked Venom for what it was, but a Marvel-level Venom proper movie that should tie to Spider-Man....? Nope.Awesome news. They know what side their bread is buttered.
They're trying to improve the Spidey brand, not tarnish it
I’m in the minority as one the people who weren’t upset at Spidey leaving the MCU/Disneyverse. I feel that Tom Holland is absolutely amazing with what he’s given to work with but the characterization of the MCU Spider-Man is just off. It doesn’t resonate with me. I’ve never understood the appeal with the MCU version. Again personal preference.....just not for me.
Not debating which movies were better because that’s all a matter of opinion....however for me I’ve always felt that Sony did a better job of representing the core of the character then the MCU. I also understand that I’m most likely in the minority with that mindset...
So yea, Im pretty indifferent to today’s news.
This is GREAT news!
So happy!
appropriate that it's spideyHe'll now likely be the first director to do an entire trilogy in the MCU.
The more I see this suit the more I love it and I loved it from jump lol, just looks outstanding. Are boy has returned! Yes Now that's more like it!View attachment 28888
It's just not the right time for Sony to have Spider-Man on their own again. And by right time, I mean Avi Arad is still employed there.
They just need to concentrate on the Spider-Verse. That's truly something special they've created with the first film.
.

For the sake of consistency you’re probably right. It would have felt weird to have him out suddenly and on this sour note as well. I guess I’ve never understood the appeal behind the MCU character. I understood why we are in love with Tom
Holland. He’s an absolute gem and has such an enthusiasm for the role whenever he’s on screen. But I’ve never supported the overall handling of the Spider-man character by Disney and company....It just seems off.
Again though, for consistencies sake....this continued union is probably for the best.
This is kind of how I feel. I unabashedly adore Tom Holland, enough to want to see him stay in the MCU and not be run into the ground by Sony. But I have a lot of issues with the supporting characters and the material.
