Dune

Yeah I imagine a lot of studios are in the same boat. They don't want to release new trailers for major tentpole releases until they know when they will be able to release them.

In other words, Marvolo is right.

Damn it I just want to see some footage already, but I get why they would want to wait as well. As much as I love Inception its probably not the greatest place to debut the first ever trailer for Dune, but at the same time I really wonder just how long they will remain waiting since it doesn't look like any major tentpole films are coming out anytime soon. I mean does it really hurt or cost that much for studios to just put the trailers online?

****inghell.....................

But we will probably get some more interviews. :barf:

Nah, I'm not watching that. This kind of interviews can be interesting after we experienced the film. To get broader perspective or insight for those who want it.

I'm dying to see a trailer, but I don't think there is any rush. For most these upcoming big movies, there is no sense in "blowing their load" too early if the films have been delayed or will be delayed. They need to be careful to properly build the buzz/anticipation.

Yeah, as frustrating as it is to not have any footage, I can understand the holdup because at this point, no one knows when these movies are coming out.

Personally I am fine with this getting delayed. It gives me more time to read the book before lol.

My prediction: they're not going to show any new trailers until they have a better idea on when they will be able to release the films or when we will finally be out of this period.

they can just show a trailer with a coming soon in the end - don‘t need a definit release date

Well legendary studios just changed their FB and twitter banner to the Dune logo today so i'm feeling pretty confident about getting footage this month. It kinda feels like the marketing is imminent.

PC: I'm also excited about your upcoming film Dune. I just saw the trailer, and you look fierce.

Z: Dune was incredible. I wasn't in it very much, so when I was watching the trailer, I was like, "Oh my gosh!" I called Timothée [Chalamet, who stars in it] and said, "Dude! You should be proud." It is a big deal to even be a small part of something with such a massive cast. And I love sci-fi stuff too. It's fun to escape into another world.

Come on...give it to us!!!!

So, from that statement... this film sounds like it ends right after Paul/Lady Jessica escape into the Fremen caves.

I wonder if they’ll end it with the ritual or start the second film with that.
