Where’s the fun in that?
But I still stand by what I said about Bruce and Clark immediately talking to each other like they’re friends was rushed in order to get to Doomsday. Also, it still makes no sense that Superman would let this unhinged psycho go save Martha when Supes could do it. He should have been like thank you for the gesture Bruce but it’s quicker for me (and I don’t really trust you with this).
That's what sets Superman apart from others (for example, Steve Lombard at Daily Planet wouldn't trust Batman as much to save his mother), as it was shown in MoS, Superman has to take the leap of faith first.Where’s the fun in that?

Batman: “....dude, I’m just a guy in a ****ing suit.”
Bruce should know after spending 20 years fighting crime that there have been dangerous people who can love their child, parent or significant other...genuinely love them...and still be capable of shooting 60 ppl in one room. Superman can have a mother, love her and still be capable of wiping out thousands or millions.
A visual representation of Bruce wondering what he could possibly do in all this chaos:i'm sure that's what on his mind in this scene

Then the follow up ‘Batman Superman Dawn og Justice’ is more of a Trinity film with Batman & Superman working together to bring down Lex plus a villain or two that’s helping Lex.
The characters were here before Snyder and they'll be here after Snyder. No one figure is bigger than the characters themselves, the man himself has even acknowledged this many times. Certain fans might not be thrilled with the way things have gone, but you're never gonna see me give up interest in stuff like this. I'm still in here discussing the director's cut because I'll always have a personal stake in the characters, regardless of my feelings on previous efforts.
Anyone giving up on DC movies, after all thats already happened, just seems silly to me. I really do think we have already been through the worst of it. If you love these characters above all, surely you'll find something down the pipeline to get excited for.

This doesnt make much sense to me, basically sounds like a JL movie. I think they did the smart thing, clubbing those two things together. Its like me saying there should have been two different novels, one dealing with Batman/Joker, and the other dealing with Batman/Superman rather than the single TDKR. Its more elegant when you tie it in together. Besides, having 2 films with the same villain(Lex)? Nah.
I was thinking about this. People always used to say DC was rushing compared to MCU. But if you look at it, the Marvel Phase 1 movies including Avengers amount to 12hrs runtime. DC movies excluding Suicide Squad(MOS, BVS UC, WW, ZSJL) amount to ~12hrs as well. Also thinks like deaths, are only rushed if you think they planned on doing like 15 films. They didnt, it was a limited 3-5 movie arc. If this was rushed, so was Gandalf's death in LOTR.
I really like the birth-death-rebirth arc wrapped neatly in one trilogy. Birth of superman-death and deconstruction of Superman-Rebirth of Superman and the age of heroes. I like that concept. I also would have liked BvS to be longer and include more stuff from the prequel comics, like an LOTR extended edition, make it 3.5hrs on home media lol. But we can keep fan fictioning movies all day, even with all my favourite movies. I think you might have wanted a World's finest rather than BvS, thats why you are trying to break down the story like that...which is fine. At the end of the day, we have to judge the movies for what they are, not what we want them to be.
Anyway, enough discussion about BvS. Lets get back to JL. I'm really excited to see what they do with Bruce Wayne in this movie, what will be his arc, how his character is interacting with all the heroes. Also I'm interested to see what the Robin tease will be. Perhaps Wonder Woman asks him about the suit and who that was and he replies "He was a good soldier... but the war goes on".
....if we nitpick every CBM its gonna be problematic for everyone favorites like Nolan and the Russo Brothers . So we should instead enjoy the stuff they gives us.Sure, but I find it funny that fans dissect every scene in CBM’s but when it’s a nitpick of their fav...you hear the good ol “eh sometimes it’s just a movie and you gotta try to enjoy instead of nitpick”.
The Dawn or Justice sequel would be a Trinity movie that also set up the ideas of other metas. I still think BvS tried to cram to much in that would have been better spread over two films. We’ll have to agree to disagree.
i agree, they should've done Trinity movie instead of rushing into JL. heck i just want Trinity movie lol
