Nah he's massive. One of the biggest stars on the planet. Multiple music videos with over a billion views. So many top charting songs. For sure one of the biggest Latin stars on the planet. He's like the Latin Drake.
I like a decent amount of his songs. He did do a music video in drag which is the main progressive thing I know from him.
But yeah he's talented at performing and making music. And I guess a bit of a fashion icon. Not sure about his acting.
Luckily that part doesn’t matter for films. :o

Another project next to Secret Invasion that has my curiosity. I really, really want this reboot and Mahershala Ali to win, but compared to the OG movie, it’s gonna be like watching Marvel trying to ice skate uphill.

They better bring it for the Daywalker.
Yeah, tough task but Ali is quality.

It's gonna be a downgrade no matter what unless Mahershala Ali suddenly becomes a 5th degree blackbelt with a talented stunt choreography team.

And then it’s also watered down with the PG-13ness of it all. I mean if they’re gonna make R Rated MCU Deadpool movies, then give Blade the same deal.

Only thing this has going for it is the combo of Ali and Delroy Lindo. Can’t screw that up, hopefully.

I gotta agree with you both. The first Blade is just so iconic, and Wesley brought so much cocky, bad boy charisma to the role...

I totally trust Feige/Marvel and Mahershala is an amazing actor, but the first two movies are gonna be hard to top...

I do wonder if Ali's version is going to be more comic accurate. Because from what I read, Snipes-Blade is way different from comic Blade in terms of personality
I don’t know if you know this but one difference that a lot of people don’t know is that comic Blade(at least before the movie) was black British. While the movie version is American Though to he honest, I’m not terribly sure Blade was a particularly well defined hero in the comics prior to the movie coming out hence why they took a lot of liberties in the first place.

Funny that the Blade conversation came up. I was just thinking about that this morning after watching Moon Knight episode 5 and how the Blade movie is the likeliest place for Moon Knight to show up next.

Where will The Eternals show up next is my question :ninja:

I'd put money down on Dr. Strange 3 before Blade. Don't know why.

There was an idea years ago that Dr Strange 2 should've been Dr Strange: The Midnight Sons. And feature Blade and Moon Knight

Don’t necessarily need to take up a DS film to do Midnight Sons. Just do it anyway (I really want it too). Hopefully by then we’ll already have many of the characters needed for it.

Disney is showing almost 70 minutes of footage from the upcoming slate. The #BlackPantherWakandaForever footage included a great shot of Nakia, Shuri & Okoye all on the front line of what looked like a major battle approaching. Kevin Feige on stage now! Marvel up first

At CinemaCon.

A Doctor Strange movie would be a logical place for Moon Knight to show up but I think Multiverse of Madness is too soon for that and I doubt we'll get Doctor Strange 3 before Blade barring any production delays for Blade/fast tracking DS3 if MOM is as big a hit as it looks to be.

I think Snipes version informed the comics take of the character afterwards.

Yeah when Steppenwolf went "DARKSEID I FOUND THE ANTI-LIFE EQUATION IT'S ON EARTH! :o" I was like wait...He already found the Anti-Life equation before and got his ass kicked for the like first time when he tried to claim it. You'd think he would remember that :funny:

Oh God, your reminding me of the rather absurd plot hole that is the ZSJL cycle of power relationships, wherein every single main character has to simultaneously be massively stronger *and* massively weaker than everyone else in order to make any sense at all. Which means they don't, and it doesn't.

Those One Shots were cool. Wish they'd bring them back

I had an idea for probably what would be the most expensive show ever, but I'd love an episodic anthology series set in the DC universe. Not with Bats, Supes, etc. but using lesser known characters. One that don't need a giant spotlight like you said. Characters like idk Killer Shark who you'd probably never get around to in a Batman series, Captain Atom who you wouldn't be sure if they can sustain their own show/movie, or characters where there's no need to even adapt them as a movie...like The Wonder Twins.

Just have every 30 min to hour episode be a different character or group of characters in a section of the DC Universe. Animated. Live action. Drama. Comedy

It could never happen because expense, but I actually had some vaguely similar ideas. Mostly I imagined a few vignettes of what the surviving TSS characters might do afterward. Specifically, a comedic scene where Ratcatcher tries to run a pest control business, complete with a small army of impeccably groomed rat "employees" complete with tiny little uniforms. . . and also, Bloodsport in a bar, when Superman walks in to have a friendly chat with him.

;) :oldrazz:

I remember this character because his story has to do with a question I pondered upon a few times; 'how many times has Peter Parker faked photos?'

This story has to do with the outcome of Mark Millar's arc and Peter giving Jonah faked photos showing him John Jameson is Spider-Man to save more people from being killed for pretending to be Spider-Man just to get the financial reward Norman Osborn anonymously donated to the Daily Bugle to expose the secret identity of Spider-Man.

A Peter David story starts with the Luchador in gold assaulting the house of Jameson's, and Jonah was alluding to his son to use his spider powers to get them out of that mess.

Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man vol1 #06-07 are fun read, that whole series is a fun read. You can skip the first four issues if you want to read the series but skip 'The Other' storyline. You can also ignore issue 24 to avoid the scars of One More Day.

Silly question, but is there a reason John Jamison didn't instead use his *Man Wolf* powers to save the day? *ahem*
