Superhero Cinematic Civil War - Part 58

Saw the movie again yesterday and I was so glad it wasn’t my first time seeing it. This obnoxious ******* who I’ve unfortunately had to sit through three different movie screenings with (Shang chi, Sonic 2, MoM) was purposely overreacting to every little thing to the point someone yelled “shut the f up”and people clapped in agreement. It was so annoying and I was like “I see why more and more people are just skipping seeing movies at the theater”. But anyway I still liked the film, not top tier but good. Everything, Everwhere, All at Once is the superior multiverse film but MoM is much better than NWH.

Wow you happened to have this same random individual in three different screenings? Are you from a small town? Lol

Yeah the theater services three small towns. But it has 18 theaters, 2 premium screens and lots of showings so it’s just like “how the f do we keep getting showings with this fool?” Dudes voice is distinct so that’s how we know it’s the same damn person. I miss the theater in the bigger city I was in before and after this experience I’m thinking it’s worth the drive.

Actual question for comics fans as this isn't a corner I've touched, I was thinking about the whole idea of Eternals inspiring certain legends and realized I guess Thena inspired Athena but also the Greek pantheon exists and... is there an explanation for that kind of overlap?

On my 2nd or 3rd screening of No Way Home, some dude behind me was laughing at EVERYTHING. it was one of those fake chuckles where its like "hey it's an MCU movie, so that means even the non funny scenes we're supposed to laugh at right?!". It literally started at the voice over during the columbia pictures logo. He did it during a super serious scene too and it was just all so awkward.

Also, Probably gonna fit my 2nd screening of MoM in on tuesday. I cant get the movie out of my head haha.

Wait, the way he worded that makes it sound like Raimi doesn't like Shazam as a character :funny:

Can’t speak for the comics, but the MCU had it so that Norse mythology - presumably written by human beings - was aware of the circumstances of Loki’s birth and his destiny as an enemy of Asgard before any of the Asgardians did (somehow) so the answer to your question is probably not. :o
