Hulk hasn't even be justice in the MCU yet.

Way to early for She Hulk in my opinion.

It's to early for She Hulk.

Hulk hasn't been done justice yet in the MCU.

Somebody help me with the setting, She-Hulk is a West Coast Avenger right?
I'm not sure if she was ever a West Coast Avenger but she was randomly a member of the Fantastic Four at one point in the '80s.
Really hoping once She-Hulk comes and goes that a Hulk sequel becomes official.
Is that even possible? I thought any future Hulk sequels were unlikely to happen because Universal still holds the rights to produce any solo Hulk films.

Hopefully there’s a loophole about a Hulk solo. Logan’s back home now, so you can have him and Hulk duke it out but bill it as a Wolverine movie.

Hey, it worked before.

Have to say Tatiana Maslany looks so much like Billy Bixby in that trailer. Makes me want to rewatch The Incredible Hulk tv show.

Also, I'm assuming this all takes place pre-Shang-Chi?

There's been rumors that Marvel may actually be getting them back and a World War Hulk movie could be in the cards. Never confirmed by reliable sources though. But hoping that proves true

I don't think so because his arm looks like it's healed and it was still in a sling in Shang-Chi. I'm hoping that Banner being human again in that scene is addressed in She-Hulk. I'm guessing that it was done for budgetary reasons in Shang-Chi but the same could also apply for She-Hulk. Ideally if it were the comics then he would be Smart Hulk the whole time but I can see him transforming back and forth between Hulk and Banner to save on the CGI budget.

I could see that happening. All of the ruckus surrounding Sony with Spider-Man's rights in addition to Disney buying Fox over the past couple of years does make it easy to forget about Universal owning Hulk's rights. But on the other hand, unlike Sony, Universal's not too desperate for franchises. I think they'd be okay if they let go of Hulk.

Show looks okay, but the CGI is really bad. At this point I don't know if I'll watch or what. I didn't even finish Moon Knight and I feel like none of the MCU shows, aside from Wandavision, have been all that great. Hawkeye was fun though.

Maybe I’m just naive but I don’t see where She-Hulk’s CGI is all that bad. May not be a slam dunk but it’s not CW level either lol.

It is quite literally the same problem as cyber Luke Skywalker. She looks fine when her face isn't the focus of the shot and she isn't talking. And given the type of character She Hulk is, and what the show seems to be going for, its going to be a problem.

But hey, fanboys still drool over Cyber Luke, so it won't stop the fanboys here.

She-Hulk fits given the legacy and passing the torch stuff we are seeing in Phase 4.
I think the problem is, Hulk in the MCU doesn’t really have much of a torch to pass on. Character hasn’t had a chance to have his own legacy ala Iron Man or Captain America, so it feels like he’s been skipped over to get to Jen.

I can see that. But Hulk has been in the MCU since 2008. Certainly has been more developed than Clint, who just did the same honors recently. I think it is justified

Hulk's really been all over the place in the MCU. I've loved him in the first Avengers and Ragnarok but he was one of the few characters that I felt like the Russos didn't really know what to do with in their Avengers movies apart from giving him the honor of bringing everyone back from the Snap.

I didn't mind Professor Hulk in theory. But it did hurt the character by having that happen off-screen, thus not having a payoff to their conflict in IW. Made him not really have an arc in Endgame as a result

I do wish Hulk wasn't hampered by that Universal deal that prevented sequels from being made. But I am hoping at least now we can get some Hulk stuff in the MCU now. Hoping we eventually see the Leader and such. Also justice for Betty Ross.

Exactly. I like Professor Hulk but we should have seen that origin happen as originally intended in Infinity War, a movie where Hulk/Banner was just done dirty as a character.

As for your second point, I do too. It's just hard to think back where to squeeze them in on the schedule even if they were able to do Ruffalo Hulk sequels since it started getting pretty stacked once they started cranking out more than one movie a year.

Still, I was just shocked to see them bring back Betty Ross in What If?
