Not the usual Spurs signing, a bit spicey at times and not to everyones taste but might just give Spurs that bite and a bit of "nasty" they can lack at times. Makes for an interesting front 3 with Perisic, Son and Kane and different to all of them as well gives them a few options for sure. Can see him being a fan favourite if he does well though.

Perisic, Son and Kane are a strong and physical front 3, and Richarlison if he can find his best could give them a bit of unpredictablity too. He hasn't blitzed the PL by any means but he obviously has some talent.

Salah apparently just signed a new long term Liverpool contract. (Sky Sports pop up)

@Mandon Knight

Would lie if I said I knew much about him but Telles hasn't worked out and Shaw has been mostly dreadful in his time here even if he's had a few good seasons. Hopefully this is someone that can either push him to perform at his best or someone who will perform good enough to start for us.

Raphina to Barca seems to be sorted now and happening. Looks like Arsenal and Chelsea will miss out on him.

Yeah, hopefully the next Evra but we shall see. Have never seen him play but I assume Ten Hag knows a bit about him coming from the Dutch league as well. Hope it works out better than when LVG brought half of the Netherlands over with him, lol.

I feel like a big issue for us has been mentality of the players and personality and that's an area Shaw stands out in because he can give interviews and kinda throw teamplayers under the bus meanwhile he gives terrible performances himself. If this new guy has the right mentality and right personality he could have less talent and still become a better player under Ten Hag I'm sure.

Shaw was great up until his bad injury, it really set him back and probably stopped him reaching his full potential. Telles was only ever a stop gap so will be interesting to see what Ten Hag see's in this guy. Coming with little expectation and low fee keeps the pressure off him as well, might be a surprise package, we can only hope.

While the injury definitely hurt him, I do this his mentality is what did him in. He's rarely if ever in proper shape.

Also, sign me up for becoming ManDutch United FC.

Jose has destroyed his fair share, so point taken.

Seems to be going to be a heavy Dutch/Ajax influence on the side if we get in most of those discussed as being in for. If it means more total football than total **** football then worth a shot at least, cant be any worse than what we have served up of late, just have to hope these new players can adapt to the league without issue.

And me. As a neutral who likes the top clubs playing good football and also the big PL clubs doing well in Europe, Utd have been boring for a good while so I’d welcome this experiment.

Apparently Lingard wants 150k a week and that's why clubs like West Ham and Everton who showed interest have backed off. If true I honestly hope he ends up panicking at the end of the window when he realizes nobody is gonna pay him that money and he ends up at a relegation club or something. I think in his head he probably thought Chelsea/Spurs or something similar would line up when his contract expired and swoop in and offer him the 150k. :funny:

This makes no sense, coming from Carragher though thats no surprise, but not sure how scoring 20+ goals, 3rd in the top scorers list made us worse? Were we playing like prime Barca before he turned up or something? The English media really will do anything to protect Ole from criticism wont they.

We all knew Ronaldo was only a 1 or 2 season thing when we signed him anyway, hardly the biggest shock or something we shouldnt have planned for but probably haven't knowing us. :o:funny:

No one has criticized Ole more then Carragher. It was a part of his on going torment of Neville. :hehe:

I agree with his assessment. One dude scoring goals, does not a team make. They turned over the dressing room and style of play to make it work, for a 1-2 year guy. And the team got worse.

Neville should have spat at him. :funny:

True, one man scoring does not make a team but neither did whatever we were attempting before him with Rashford and Martial.

If Ten Hag doesnt want him and has another plan instead then fair enough but he needs the club to sort it out pretty fast with only just over a month before the season kicks off, tik tok, tik tok.

Remember when Sancho was surplus to requirements? Rashford, Martial, Greenwood...
