The mural at 0:20 is similar to the portrayal of the Mortis gods. The circle behind her head, the same sort of stilted hand placement from their Rebel's painting, etc.

Sabine being Ahoska's apprentice is interesting. I don't really recall her having any Force Sensitivity in Rebels.

I'm going to be completely honest. This looks...fine? But I've been having the sneaking suspicion that the pivot into the filoni related stuff wasn't gonna be that interesting to me and so far it seems like it won't be. I enjoyed clone wars and rebels, but I was never obsessed and i think this show in particular is mainly geared towards his audience. Dont get me wrong, I like filoni, but the unwavering worship towards everything he does doesn't make much sense to me and if the rumors of deepfakes in his star wars film is true, I'm all set.

I have no issues with "fan service" but how many more times are we gonna hear about Anakin? It feels like we are running in circles now with star wars content. So what you will about Rey getting her own movie, but at least that's gonna be something new and different.

I'm also burnt out in general on star wars shows. The quality has diminished and I think it's time to bring this franchise back to the big screen.

Starwars.com added a database entry for him. His name is Marrok.

Once an Inquisitor hunting Jedi for the Empire, the mysterious Marrok now works as a mercenary hired by Morgan Elsbeth to carry out dark deeds. Fully encased in battered battle armor, the warrior still carries a red double-bladed saber with a circular hilt.

Marrok. Awfully close to Marek. As in, Galen Marek. Starkiller. I see you Filoni

So, the mobile game had a nice pre celebration of the show, giving everyone a max level Rebels Ahsoka, and updated the models on that Ahsoka and Thrawn. The only problem is, the Thrawn model is short. Are we getting tiny Thrawn in this show?
