"It's all in the process of process right now. There's the usual pick-ups and stuff that we have to do in September, and then sometime next year [it will release]. I think it is known when it's slated to be released but I don't want to say if it isn't (laughs)."
Good find. It’s not a stretch at all to think that this delay has to do with DS:MOM, since it’s the very first movie on that list that needed to be reshuffled.
The movie wrapped filming back in mid-April. At some point there was talk about reshoots which where taking place in September. We don’t know the extent of those reshoots but this things are part of the process and they definitely add more post production work, specially for a movie like this that will likely envolve a lot of SFX.
A while back there where several articles hinting at a possible delay and even Benedict Cumberbatch hinted at that happening.
It sure raises some red flags. Also coupled with some reports floating around regarding test screenings with like warm reception. Hopefully they can fix whatever need fixing and patch it up in a way that doesn’t retract from the films overall quality.
So... basically the ending of Wandavision.I head that the test audience sympathized with Wanda and completely rejected her villainy, so they have to rewrite the film to make her an antiheroine instead of a villain.
The Benedict Cumberbatch-starring sequel to Marvel Studios’ 2016 installment, has been prescribed a major new shoot. In what sources describe as being “significant,” the new shoot, taking place in Los Angeles, is both “additional photography” and “reshoots.”
How significant? Insiders say that Cumberbatch and company are undertaking six weeks of shooting, if not more, working six days a week. Sam Raimi remains helmer and Loki head writer Michael Waldron is still on board writing the new material.
MaybeDoctor Strange Multiverse Of Madness apparently about to go through “significant reshoots.”
Should we take this as a red flag?
Its Madness especially when dealing with the Multiverse.Maybe
The caveat here is that Cumberbatch and co are gonna be working 6 days a week for 6 weeks. I don't think that's not normal for Marvel
