The new Star Wars game was probably the thing I was most skeptical about. I got into the Force Unleashed (and had enjoyed Jedi Knight before it) and saw that tank with the second game and saw the state of Star Wars games in general and when I heard of the announcement of a game at E3, I was hardly interested.

Though hearing the details and seeing a screen I've got to admit I'm not interested. Hopefully it's a good game and makes up for the lack of a Force Unleashed (and other good SW games).



Could be a joke. Maybe that's just what Campbell refers to himself in game in the tutorial?

Greg Miller just posted a new rewind theatre. Nothing new visually to see, but there are a few more details.

Apparently Felicia Hardy is NOT Black Cat; the game is a precursor to her becoming Black Cat...Sony apparently stressed this. (Not much of a difference to me...she's wearing black, she has white hair, she's robbing banks. Black Cat.)

As we already know, the symbiote and Ock are alluded to in background materials in the creation of Scorpion, but not mentioned in the game or the film. Miller also said that apparently Scorpion is Alistair Smythe, if I heard him correctly. We know Smythe is in the game for sure as the creator of the Oscorp bots...but will he become Scorpion?

For all intents and purposes, this game is canon to ASM lore...so says Sony....and Greg Miller haha. They've been working closely with Beenox in overseeing what villains are used and how they fit into the overall story.

Ahah, that's so cool.
If it's like Spider-Man 2 the movie or even Ultimate Spider-Man, some of those races will be insanely hard to complete.
Hopefully they'll be more fun to do with Web Rush though.

No, you misread. I'm saying I'm interested (though still a bit cautious). It's not all due to TFU2, it also has to do with the state of SW games in general for a while now and even some of the background politics that seemed to go on at LucasArts.

It looks pretty good, but I'll have a better idea once we start getting decent sized previews. Though I'm undecided as to there possibly being 'no Force presence at all'. It may be in the game's favour to do so for the most part, but it feels like something is missing if you don't have that at some stage. Though I'll settle for seeing someone like Darth Vader or Obi Wan as a cameo in a cutscene (maybe we walk past him and Luke in a canteena? lol).
