I'm curious why you all think the price will drop so fast, because I've noticed that Activision games tend to keep their prices at or near their original price for a long time much longer than most other games. I remember seeing X-Men: Destiny over and over at the store and being shocked that the price was the original $60 for a very long time. I thought for sure they'd discount it just to get rid of inventory, but there it sat for almost as long as I saw it in the store for its original price. I think it might have come down to $50 after it was out for well over a year.
I thought I might pick up Edge of Time when the price dropped, and it stayed there at its original price for almost the entire time it was in the store, so I never got it. TASM1 took more than a year to drop from $60 to $50, and it only very recently dropped to $30 or $40 sometime in the last 3 months or so.
For contrast, Assassin's Creed 4 just went down to $40 after less than 6 months being out, and AC3 just went to $20. Batman: Arkham Origins dropped to $50 after about 3 or 4 months out, and just went down to $40. Something tells me that Activision just doesn't like to drop the price of their games, even the absolutely horrible ones.
