I’m sure they are looking at BP figures in WB meetings and thinking what they need to do to get back on track. I don’t think most of them or us even knew that these numbers were possible with less known characters in their first solo film and it makes the whole Marvel and DC catalogue even more valuable IMO. WB just need to figure out how best to use their own awesome catalogue of characters and also realise it goes well beyond Batman and Superman.

How am I going to brag for being a fan of these comic book characters?

I don't know what was more exhilarating to follow, Black Panther constantly coming up higher than the estimates, or Justice League coming up lower than the estimates. Justice League was estimated at 150. Kept getting lower and lower. Smaller and smaller until it settled on 94 million.black Panther was estimated at 110 million. Kept getting bigger with every report. Now its final opening weekend tally could be 240 million.

I live by a theater and the parking lot has been nonstop packed since Thursday previews. Wanted to see it a second time but it’s just a madhouse.

That only happens for Star Wars.

Saw JL the Thursday night it came out and I could park anywhere with my eyes closed and still not hit anything. Fix that, WB.
