Talking of the championship, Derby (who my mate supports) caused a big upset in the first leg of the playoff against in form Fulham (who only just missed out on automatic promotion). Fulham completely dominated the match (stats for possession etc are laughable). Should make the 2nd leg tonight a good watch for neutrals.

It's laughable Fulham didn't go up top 2.

Cardiff were bottom 4 for passing, possession etc, basically went up playing hoof ball. Fulham's football is so much better.

That's what my friend was telling me. Thought he had no chance against them in the playoff and apparently they were on a really long unbeaten run in the league and mucked it up right at the very end.

Bale is much better when given a free role as a CAM. He's quite predictable on the right.

Not to mention his injury record is a nightmare. No thanks. I'd rather have Mahrez or Bernardo Silva.

Still at least there is a WC this summer to distract from all the BS that we will no doubt have to suffer again, thats one good thing about the WC this year, lol.

Did OK from what I saw. Teams clearly identify him as the stand out - so without being spectacular every game, he still occupies the opposition attention - leaving room & space for his team mates.

We're going to need squad replacements for all the players that leave, too.

Blind, Darmian, Martial, potentially Fellaini, potentially Jones, Carrick, and Young also need replacements. At bare minimum I think we need five signings, in the positions you mentioned as well as another CB and a world class RB too.
