Because we keep our De Gea.Because it's bad for Chelsea?
Because we keep our De Gea.
Yeah, I think he'll be fine.Oh of course. Didn't even think of that but that should put the chase to bed permanently. Are you sure you still want him after the World Cup he had though? t:
I'm sure he'll be back to normal with Utd though.
Yeah, I think he'll be fine.
So, predictions (at this stage, before all transfers have been confirmed) of who will achieve what, next season in the EPL ? By way of the title, CL places, Europa L, relegation places etc.
Fair play to Chelsea and Madrid, when they want a player they get the deals sorted pronto, no mucking around for 6 weeks, of will they, wont they.
Liverpool spending 75M on a keeper tells you the faith they have in Klopp and what he is doing at the club, I think if anyone gives City a run for their money this season it'll be them, I just still wonder if they need another CB to solid up that central defense.Yeah, saw that and thought I already posted it lol (oh..in the WC thread by mistake). Now they are spending big on their weak areas. They are gunning for the title at this rate. No point quibbling over that kind of amount when most clubs quote an extra 30 or 40m.
Btw Hunter I know you've checked out of Utd for now till certain things change. Outside of Liverpool (who I'm sure there's no chance with due to the rivalry), are there any other teams you can get pleasure from watching as a neutral during that time? I was always into football in general as a Toon fan but this really went up a lot when Ashley turned up. Means I can enjoy football even if my team is doing ****.
Yes they are fully backing their manager, but I think the club has found the best fit for themselves long term. Another CB would certainly not go astray. And I think the gap to City will be closer than last time both from Liverpool doing better and City getting a few less points no matter how well they play. Last season really seems like a freak.Liverpool spending 75M on a keeper tells you the faith they have in Klopp and what he is doing at the club, I think if anyone gives City a run for their money this season it'll be them, I just still wonder if they need another CB to solid up that central defense.
I like watching Borussia Dortmund and this season I am going to be intrigued to see how Ronaldo does at Juve as well as Lautaro Martinez at Inter to a lesser degree. I also like to watch Lyon and Monaco but I don't know what players they'll have left this season lol. If you mean just in the PL then I enjoy watching Spurs.
I agree that City will likely have not have such a run away season this time, that run of results will be hard to repeat as more teams should be starting to figure out to stop them or slow them down better.Yes they are fully backing their manager, but I think the club has found the best fit for themselves long term. I was talking about any football and thats great to know. I thought you followed football too widely to let your own club going through a long bad patch be enough to put you off the sport totally.
How in the world do you manage to **** up the United kit? It looks like a PES unlicensed number

Yeah, there's so much access to all the leagues nowadays that it's easy to follow football on a bigger scale than when I was a kid and we got one 1st Division match a week with Elton Welsby! For the record as well the bad patch isn't result orientated for me, I've seen my team win 13 PL's and 2 CL's as well as 6 FA Cups, I've seen plenty of trophy seasons, for me it is all about the garbage football and the toxic way our young players are being treat, it's the antithesis of the club I grew up with.
