I meant in my dislike of how "overplayed" Wolverine became in relation to the X-Men; kinda like how sometimes people look at the Justice League as "Batman and his *****es", kinda felt the same way with the X-Men at the time.

But still, I shall watch the show based on your recommendation. :hat:
Flip :thot: and you get the right :toth emoji.

Even as a 10 year old kid who didnt know or really follow directors and stuff, i remember watching Batman Forever and being like “something.... is not right with this. This is not like Batman Returns.” And then a couple years later watching Batman and Robin and being like “ okay, now youre just insulting my intelligence.”

Ha, this was part of the growing up process for all of us. The wrongness was more subtle to our younger selves with Batman Forever, but no doubt with the amplified version Batman and Robin when we were a few years older.

I was 10 when Forever came out and it was my first Batman on the big screen. I lapped it up and still love it today.

IMO, it's way more enjoyable than Returns. Too much Burton weirdness going on. Different strokes 'n all that.

if you take out some of the over the top designs (ex: the bat-nipples), and reign in the overacting (esp from carrey and tlj) and made the movie a little bit more serious, it would've been very, very good.

as it stands, it is a flawed, but fun movie though.

clooney can probably play a good batman beyond-esque bruce wayne at this point.

let someone like andrew garfield or nicholas hoult play terry mcginnis.
