No Way Home No Way Home Rumors, Leaks And Speculation Thread (Potential Spoilers Ahead)

It would be such a neat callout to the comics if they went the Spectacular Spider-Man route and made the Goblin's identity a constant guessing game.
Even better if the Goblin tech leads to some sort of Goblin War where Norman is still the top player but now he and Peter have to deal with a bunch of counterfeit Goblins.

I would love it if Norman created a 3D printing mold machine that could create form fitting masks for movies and television shows to cut down on long makeup chair times for actors and he uses that to create the Goblin mask. Play into the theatrical elements of the character (he's like The Joker but his motif is Halloween instead of clown stuff) from the comic books instead of the armored up military suits and tech from the Sam Raimi movies.

SpideyForever245 predicted the release of the MCU's recently released montage for their upcoming films, so it gives more validity to the NWH leaks they shared on top of everything else.

So vieweranon on Twitter confirmed Maguire and Garfield Spider-Men. But what about Daredevil? That's the other elephant in the room. Has any legit leaker given those rumors credibility?

Charles Murphy. Also Brandon Davis reported Charlie Cox was on set and wrapped in Jan. He seems 100% certain he's in it.

Pretty much like you-know-who, I feel that there's too much smoke about Charlie Cox returning for there not to be fire.

Peter's gonna have an attorney in this movie and there's no chance it's gonna be a rando. We're past that point in comic book movies lol. I don't think Jennifer Walters is gonna be introduced in this movie, Matt is just much closely linked to Peter historically with their friendship and street-level status. How many times has Matt been Peter's attorney in comics and other adaptations over the years alone? He's done it at least twice in comics, and in 2 cartoons. I really don't expect anything more than pretty much a small role in a scene or two and a few cheeky lines about it.

I can't imagine his role being more than a cameo though.
I wouldn't expect his role to be that sizable, just prominent as Peter's lawyer in the courtroom scenes. There's very little chance we'd see him suit up, I think.

I feel like the Loki show will set the tone for multi-verse rules and cross-overs. If in that show they reference things which are not canon (Chris Evans as Johnny Storm, Deadpool, Hugh Jackman, Some other ridiculous thing) / loose canon (AoS, Daredevil, Jessica Jones, etc.) to the MCU movies as events, then all bets are off for these 2 films and Spider-Ham could show up.

Also it means that the Netflix character's, while they would exist in the MCU in some capacity, could be different than their shows exact version which exist on a branch timeline.

I sincerely hope that rumor about
there being two Norman Osborns
isn't true. I just plain hate that idea.

Right now I am more inclined to believe that

Tatiana Maslany shows up in No Way Home as Peter's attorney than Charlie Cox

If I'm being 100% honest that would be better. She Hulk and Spidey have great chemistry in the comics. I'm certain the demand for Cox and the Netflix crew has been heard and is planned.

The question is where is the right timing.

Murdock makes more sense than Walters at this point. Especially since we haven't even seen She-Hulk yet on her own show. At this point with seeing Murdock, it's within his character. Alongside their bond in the comics, in the context of this movie, the only person who will defend Peter is also a superhero and even if he's lying will do it because it's the right thing to do is very much a Murdock thing to do and is better than... unknown commodity Jessica Walters which would just be jarring introducing her here.

Exactly. Just to note, lots of fans were pretty vocal for the last few years wanting to see a live-action Spider-Verse of sorts, and one of the other big things I always saw fans wanting is Spidey and Daredevil together on screen. Usually I wouldn't expect them to throw it all in there cause it seems fanservicey but they're already doing Tobey and Andrew here, makes me feel like Charlie Cox showing up just as Matt isn't that far fetched now either. The setup where Peter will be at the start of this lays the ground perfectly to hit that fan button, just sayin.

If Charlie Cox shows up. it probably won't be as Daredevil. i suspect they ain't fully ready to do anything with Daredevil yet.

There is a rumour they want to do a gentle reboot on the netflix characters. which presumbaly means reintroducing lightly.

I think we're all in agreement that if he does show up, it would be in that capacity at the most yeah. That'd be all you really need and fans will get all jazzed up on principle.

I dont think Cox is showing up. I want it, BELIEVE me i want Cox in the MCU but i dont think Feige is interested in cross pollinating the Netflix stuff with the MCU.

People who reported Strange showing up on WandaVision and Tobey and Andrew on No Way Home also said Charlie shot his scenes in January, so it's probably the court scenes.

Well, they were right about Strange being in Wandavision early on in the original plans.

Did you guys see that other “leak” going around? The one in the form of IMessage, it’s not accurate, but apparently 3 of the messages in it are.

It just sort of reiterates SpideyForever245's NWH leak, so I highly doubt it's real. People are memeing it so hard on Twitter and understandably so lol.

Hey, so like Airnick mentioned, Ajeparts on twitter who works for the GWW and KCWalsh (they scooped Alfred Molina as Doc Ock before the trades) said even though the plot leak on twitter is fake, three of the texts were accurate and one will upset people. A guy who I’m on a Discord server with claimed he asked Ajep what the three things that were apparently true were and he said he guessed right, screenshot in the spoiler tags with their name cropped out:

Take it with a grain of salt, of course. I just sometimes lurk here, came across that comment and thought you guys might find it interesting. Obviously it’s huge spoiler for the ending if it’s accurate so just warning you.

If it’s true that Peter does reveal himself at the end of the movie, how would you guys feel about that?

I've told you this on PMs, Airnick, but the MCU Spider-Man is just a very different interpretation to the point where I've come to accept most of the differences for that potential aspect to bother me.

What I'm more focused on is how Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield's Spider-Men are handled characterization and screentime wise.
